We are in the process of finalizing our judges for Boston Bhangra this year. If you are interested in being a judge, please do reach out to us. Please e-mail us at info@bostonbhangra.com with your name, e-mail, phone number and background in Bhangra/dance so that we can determine if you'd be a fit for our judging panel. We do mandate that you have not been competing for at least 2 years for us to consider you.

We are looking to finalize shortly, so please do get back to us within the next couple of days.

Thanks,
Rohit

My recommendations:
faizan ghaznavi
arjun barua
kinnell shah
harry kainth
i personally don't know many women who are qualified and would want to judge but i'm sure there are plenty out there. please avoid having any uncles and auntis who lack awareness of evolution of bhangra and are only there cuz they happen to run some random dance school or something.

:) i'm glad they seem awfully qualified to you, i'm sure i would think the same if i knew them well enough or had witnessed them judge, but i haven't so i would prefer to only speak of those i know. thanks.

Mariam and Reeda are def qualified. I have been in comps where they have judged and have heard nothing but great things about them from all the competing teams that I have talked to so far.

There are more qualified women such as
Ashita Stephen (DCBC)
Kristy Throndson (DCBC)
Bharathi Sandhu (Jawani)
Romy Kapoor (Jawani)
Silky Kadakia (DCMPAA)
Neha Singh who I believe is working in Boston (DCBC, ESA, GW)
Pam Singh (GMU, ESA)

I am certain that there are other qualified women out there-- but these were the names that quickly came to my mind that can offer a lot of great feedback to improve the circuit no doubt!

Hi there !

What I'm assuming from the above posts that few members like to have their own choice of judges in the Boston Bhangra Championship and such practice is NOT GOOD for the competing teams. What I suggest to have judges from other countries like UK, Canada, India etc.. Your valuable comments in this regard are solicited, please.

ALL THE BEST !
