Hi everyone!

We're a new team based out of Brandeis University (right outside of Boston). So far, we've only really done on-campus performances, but might be looking to compete sometime next year or so!

Unfortunately, no funding to afford saaps as of now, but looking into it. We also have 8 girls and 4 guys as of now, so that's the reason for the girls wearing guys vardi. Couldn't tie paggs, as a lot of the performers were in other acts for the cultural show.

We'd love to hear critiques and suggestions for how to improve in the spring!

Here's the video, and the mix is already posted in the other forum section.

so proud of you for putting together a team! :) i think its great. 8)

i watched it and im definitely really impressed. the first thing i noticed right away is how clean your team dances. sure, there are some individual differences here and there, but a lot of people look the same and the formations are pretty clean too. that's great.

i would say the biggest area for improvement at this point would be taking everyone's form to the next level. it looks like you've got a strong foundation but there are some things that could make everyones dancing even better. these would be higher legs, stronger shoulders, and more fluidity between moves.

it seems like a lot of moves are really start-and-stop, or robotic. i noticed this the most during jhummar. that's also a confidence thing that comes with experience, so im sure its something you can continue to work on as a team. i would really encourage all of your dancers to watch videos of really good teams to get an idea.

other than that keep it up! theres a lot of potential to make this team great! some of your formations were really awesome, and im sure when your dancers are more experienced you can make them even more complex. i think that will really add to your routine and make it more competition-ready.

great job :)
