hahahah pointless but awesome link you posted. i CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS. i've been waiting so long asdfha can't wait to see what the writers have in store for us.

any thoughts on possible stories for this one?? with gus gone it's hard to say what is gonna go down. walter's gonna be the drug lord? and then try to get out of that life??

So excited for the new season. Yeah it's gonna be a crazy two mini seasons to come. To me, Season 4's finale seemed like the perfect way to end the series, and there's def going to be a large gap to cover with gus gone, but I'm interested to see how Walter's empire will crumble, which I'm pretty sure it will in some way.

What with the whole poisoned kid situation last season and Walter's characterization of himself as "the one who knocks, the one to be afraid of", I think sympathy for him is pretty much gone.

EDIT: Breaking Bad Season 5 Promo #1 (HD)

yeah, there you go. I definitely don't think he has any intention to let go of his drug empire at this point haha.

He's still definitely an amazing main character, in an anti-hero sort of way, but I'm waiting for something crazy to happen that will bring him down.

Walters defiantly going to fall I've learned that this show never does something to just mess with viewers heads like the teddy bear with one eye and half burned face (foreshadowing gustavos death)

I don't know if you guys remember but there was a scene in season 3 i believe with a bunch of guys suited up in these bomb squad suits snapping pictures of dead bodies infront of Walters house, cant wait to see what they bring this season :D

thoughts on today's episode?? it was definitely kinda slow and i guess my excitement for the show to start had me expecting a lot of craziness in the beginning of this season. but i guess the writers gotta build up the intensity slowly right?? after all the show started getting actually crazy intense starting like midway in season 3!

Was the magnet thing a success? I remember they said the laptop screen broke, but I don't remember anything about the hard drive. And I wonder what that thing on the index card behind Gus' picture was all about.

I know they say this is the last season but I can see them going one more by really developing this new Walt

I don't think the laptops going to be a issue anymore but the index card is gonna be huge

Lot of leads in this season, gonna be a good two-part season. What's all this foreshadowing with the bearded Walt on his 52 d birthday? Excited to see what goes down!!!

This week's episode had a more dramatic tone, and while stuff happened, it was slower. I still think it was great-- I dont think the episode is as enjoyable if you haven't tracked the characters.. you're so invested in walt, jesse, mike, and others' motives, that that adds a ton to each scene.

and walter's back!! it feels like i've been waiting years and years for it to finally start back up holy shit i am excited. anyone able to catch today's episode?? what are your thoughts?? i'm going to type some more stuff towards the bottom that may be somewhat of a spoiler so SPOILER ALERT!!!

so i'm seeing a lot of similarities to the way gus would portray himself. for example, when walt has to puke and he turns on the sink, and grabs a towel to put on the floor for him to rest his knees on, same thing gus did when he was at that dude's house in mexico, when he poisoned everyone with the tequila or whatever it was. also when walt was at his car wash and that lady comes up telling him to make more pure meth, walt pretends to act like he's dealing with an actual customer, same way gus would do when walt sees him at pollos hermanos. also, what happened at the end of today's episode, when walt tells him to tread lightly, was he actually threatening him??

Yes it was a threat to Hank to watch his back. Walt indirectly lets Hank know that he is indeed Heisenberg when he refuses to bring Skyler and the kids over, making Hank realize Walt has something to hide
