BTF Ads are annoying

Okay theres that stupid smiley one that goes "Omgggg noo way" and then theres another one that plays some 80's song. Is there anyway to just have like normal ads that dont yell at me or play retro music loudly when im at work lol.

Hey Abhi I hear you on this. I'm not really an expert on tweaking the ads so I kind of took the default settings, then I actually took the "Low Annoyance" option (which prevents popups, popunders, etc), and went with that. No idea why it gives the audio ads. I might be switching our ad provider back to google for the majority of stuff in the next week. Sorry for the audio inconvenience, I hear you.

I hate the "omgggg no wayy" one...the 80's music one is from the michael jackson ad. hhaha whenever Im playing music on my laptop and I get that ad, im like "wait, thats not part of the song", then I realize its from the BTF ad haha.

Vaibhav I use adblockplus as well but i disable it on domains who i know need grassroots support (e.g., BTF!). Consider that the few $$ from ad revenue is the only thing that pays the Server bills.

Guys we have some changes coming to the backend of BTF.. I've been delaying them because they're no effect on you as the users plus there will be some stressful downtime for me.... but i'll see if i can do it later this week or weekend then maybe we'll see the ads change i think

They should all be the same, small rectangle... I havent seen this one, I'll keep an eye out and see if i can more strictly set the size (i thought it already was set to 90px)

You know, BTF gets a huge amt of traffic, but what youve all seen (how addictive it is) is its downfall: no one wants to advertise on bhangra keywords plus its the same ppl over and over, which is not good for advertising =(
