Interesting matchup, comments were pretty broad and critiqued different aspects of the mix. In the end DJ 2 had a solid win so congrats to DJ Preet!

suggestion: title these threads with a numbering system, so that users going thru the mixes can keep track of which mixes they've listened to, and so that on the home page the recent posts are doesnt look like a complete mess

Clean win to DJ 2

DJ 1's mix hurt my head - way too much going on all at once. Was there even an Punjabi song used in this mix? I couldn't tell until about 0:42 when I finally heard something that sounded like the original vocals, lol.

I agree with Basim. I feel as though DJ 1 drowned out the vocals for much of the mix.

My vote is for DJ 2.

Echoing Basim, DJ 1's mix took risks with the layering, but too many tracks for me.

My vote: DJ 2

When the vocals kicked in, the beat was pretty much on pitch with the original song. Dj 2's beat didn't match the pitch of the original song to me.
