★☆★ BTF Mixing Ladder - RANKING POLL ★☆★

Whatup BTF,


It's time to get this ladder stuff underway! The official competition will begin next week. But, before that, we need to set up a preliminary ladder. That is, we need to organize everyone into a ladder we can officially begin the competition with. And we're going to let YOU do that.


Vote for up to 3 DJs. You may only cast one vote per DJ. Voting will be open for the next week—until Monday, June 17. Once the poll is closed, the DJs will be sorted by decreasing vote count, i.e., the DJ with the most votes will be at the top. This list is the ladder that we will enter the competition with!


As you've probably noticed, this is a poll. Votes are totally anonymous. In addition, anyone with a BTF account can vote. So, DJs, reach out to your fans! Have them help boost you to the top!


Do not worry, this ladder is sure to change throughout the course of the competition. After all, that's the point of the whole thing, isn't it?

Also, this is my first time participating in the ladder, can someone provide me more info on how this works (timeframe given, songs, do's/don'ts etc.). That'll be helpful not only for me but maybe for other first timers who've entered in the ladder.

Swi and Ra have the highest chance of beating GSingh. Jassi's the wildcard anythings possible I wouldn't be surprised if he's the one to beat GSingh

Tags or not these mixers all have their own signature sound it wouldn't be hard to figure out who mixed what.


I'm looking forward to when it's Swi Vs GSingh or Ra Vs. GSingh. That being said GSingh has to deliver some golden shit every matchup, the exceptions are high brotha but you'll do justice I have complete faith : )

There are a lot of heavy hitters that we are missing from this mixing ladder so far (they could always join & start from the bottom in the future though).

People like: Jabar Jung, Armaani, DJ Fresh, 2Nyce, HarmanToor (since he never had a chance to participate last time). These guys were all present in the last mixing ladder.

A lot of them might not mix as much anymore or might not have time for this friendly competition, but I wish we could have seen some of these familiar faces. I know the individuals from the last mixing ladder were contacted, but choose not to participate for whatever reason.

I'm glad we're keeping this a "BTF" mixing ladder - there are a lot of talented mixers outside of the BTF, but if we brought them in.. there would be no point to have BTF in the title and have it exclusive to people that actually visit/contribute to this site.

I personally feel it's a bit premature to predict 1st, 2nd, 3rd. That fact that this will be an ongoing competition (unless there is a cutoff of when this ends), people will continuously move up & down. Plus, you never know who will join later on to stir up the pot.
