+1 - I would rather be more "strict" with the participants than have this entire thing turn into chaos. If you were around for the last mixing ladder, it was a complete mess due to the lack of activity and organization... which eventually led to it's death.abhij95 said:

I forget who suggested it in one of the challenge threads, but it would be great if you numbered all the challenges (in the topic title). That way its easier for me to tell if I already voted and to be able reference them quite easily.

I would also suggest (if possible) for the Mods to create a separate section on BTF for the mixing ladder and the challenges, rather than keeping all of them in the "Bhangra Mixes and Music" section. The ladder and all of its threads take away a lot of the attention from other posts by people who may not want to compete but are still trying to release their own independent samples/mixes or just get feedback on their work. It would also keep those posts from mixing in with the ladder threads and make it easier for everyone to find what they're looking for.

I'm away in India with limited internet and Saleem's been busy, so unfortunately it will take a week or two for us to get it done
Saleem and I have already discussed this and agree it's the way to go. We'll also have weekly threads that wrap up the challenges, rerank the list, and set up the new challenges. That way it's easier to keep track (and we'll lock down threads as we go so they stay down)Aditya said:

It will provide an up-to-date list of all DJ's participating (including their rankings), provide information on if there is a certain "theme" to the week or not (or other "surprises"), and all the challenges can kept in that one thread so the mods can manage them better (determine who has or has not accepted).
