track 1

track 2 is clean ass hell though really tough choice..its clear that both of them were pretty confident in their mix before they heard their opponents..haha

both are ok with potential, but I think both have some big flaws:

Track 1: Doesn't really intro or outro well imo (yes, i get it)...but it's not about the full track so this is not a huge deal (unless it becomes a tiebreaking factor)
Track 2: ET beat works nicely, but that's about it. After 10 seconds you know the entire rest of the mix cause it's just cut paste. Effects are weird too, the cha-cha-chak de was off? and the last bassdrop doesn't seem to be worth the drop. Just didn't seem to take much effort, although the concept of the two songs was nice. Also, try not to use the btf effects so strongly. We've heard them so many times it's a bit of a turn off to hear "bassdrop3.mp3" played a bunch of times. Better to put it only for support of bass/transition, not as the entire thing.

I'm giving this one to track 1 because the technical aspects and decent background outshined the concept of ET and a nice intro buildup.

The extra effects (twinkle sounds, ET beeping noises, extra percussion) all came together for a really sick track with TRACK 2! keep it up! both tracks were well made :)

Vote: Track 1

Track 1 - The start was nice with the fade and the explosive opening. I liked the sound effect from 'Look at me now' around the 32 second mark

Track 2. Felt a little more static. I don't know, maybe it was the choice of the dhol loop used. Try to bring out more sections to bring the track alive e.g. 35 seconds to 40 seconds you could maybe have used another clip in that potential space . Good job though, it was a close one.

For all these challanges there is a minimum post requirement of i believe 75.....to avoid mixers telling there friends to make a profile and vote for them i think this should be stated at the beginning of each voteing thread

Track one sounded more professional.

Track two sounded very flat in terms of sound stage, The vocals were placed in a really awkward place and the beat was kinda forced on as well.

(listen with really good headphones you'll know what I mean compared to track one.)

i think track 1 took the original to the next level, track 2 didn't differentiate itself as much
