im just gonna go ahead and state that the original track is fudu. you can only do so much with something that has no potential lyrically or musically. what exactly can you do with a song about how dudes put random phrases on their cars and then has a bunch of generic lyrics about how awesome punjabi gabru are? there should be a standard for the songs used in this contest and this song is the worst ive heard yet. that is what i attribute the lack of inspiration in the mixes to. i honestly dont feel like voting for either because theres no way you can mix that track into something enjoyable (at least not for me). since i downloaded and listened i will cast a vote.

Track B just doesn't have enough stuff to trump A. Track B just wasn't busy enough to take on A. And in no way was track A busy, it just had great stuff added to it. I also thought the tpain beat that was real low didn't match the song at points.

Bro, that's where the creative aspect of this whole competition comes into play. Who can take a track that has qualities like this one (as you mentioned random lyrics about awesome punjabi gabroo, etc) and make it into something most people would enjoy listening to? The original song, whatever it may be, is just a baseline. Whoever can put the best twist on it wins.

Track A really found a flow to the lyrics and the beat. It was simply amazing. RETURN OF THE MACK <3

Track B had too much going on, the vocals sounded almost the same, which in the original track are pretty weak already, seemed like there was no tweak to make it sound original.



A wins without a shadow of doubt.

Critique-


Track B - it was way too simple. Seemed like there were no changes made to the original song...except for some lyrics that were really hard to hear.


Track A - Very clean..but one thing..you OD'd on the disc scratching...i personally disliked that..just watch out for that next time.

track A. pretty much same reasons as everyone has already stated. wasnt feeling the tpain part in B at all
