Tasha Tah over Linkin Park is genius. I couldn't hear any of the mixes very well at the show itself, but when I heard this mix in the car today it was incredible. Good job, folks.

Really liked this mix a lot. It's not just the remixing and the use of samples, but it was the attention to details. Like after the initial whistle song drop, cutting it up and bringing it back again and then yet again with the lower pitch.

But just be careful, busy =/= hype. Too often the mix just piles on samples and melodies to get hype. It shines the most when the segment is focused (like the whistle song) and the remixing just supplements the song. There are a few places where we hear a small sample of 4-8 beats and then the mix goes into some other song. This works fine once or twice (gangam style for instance is successful) but use it too often and it feels cheap. By the end of the mix the One Love sample is just irritating and doesn't sound good.

I think it also cuts randomly too often, giving it an up and down feel (again, gangam style comes back very cleverly and boom you abrupt cut to next song after 4 beats). That style can work for Boston depending on your choreo (haven't seen it), but doing it constantly is almost certain to start losing the judges as the set goes on. Another example is the KKHH-tumbi which was so nice, I was really expecting the dhol to come in and have the remix pick up, instead it quickly shifts to an awkward bob marley and ek jind mashup.

It's all nitpicky, but imo important because we're talking about augmenting your teams performance. If your choreo is matching the mix well, then you need to think about how it presents to a judge/audience and whether what you intend to present is what's being absorbed. If you're not matching the mix exactly (i.e. the abrupt changes in the mix don't match with quick segment changes in your dancing) then you may want to adjust the mix to better highlight your choreography.

hope that helps! keep up the great work, it really does sound awesome and I'm sure with more tweaking it'll become even better

i liked this mix! the mixing was much cleaner than most of what you hear here. transitions were on point, for the most point. i agree with swi that there were too many hard cuts from one segment/concept to the next. that being said, a lot of the concepts were quite sick. i particularly like your hon pangeh pein geh mix.

i'd say that you should work more on matching your beats; in a few places, things tend to diverge a little too much. jawani gets offbeat towards the end, for example. most stark, however, is naal nachna and gangnam style; they're not on beat at all, and naal nachna is way too sped up imo.

also, i'm a fan of your song selection. way to include jawani; i love that song.

this mix is actually really good I wasn't expecting it to be this good however some of the ideas are really well thought out

I agree with voxanimus the gangnam style mix could have been executed better same goes for some of the transitions which seemed too sudden. That Haan De Munde shit is nice though I want that song someone send me it lol
