Hello everyone! This is our Bhangra Blowout XXII performance for the 2014-2015 season. Unfortunately, I believe Harjot and the Blowout committee are having some sort of dispute so I am unable to post the GTV video but I do have the Kings Productions video (courtesy of Kinnell).

In addition, we would greatly appreciate critiques on all aspects of the set. We hope to improve on this performance in the coming year and would love feedback on form, formations, sychronization, and choreography. As for the transition prop we used from saaps to khunde, we are aware that it looked very awkward as we were unable to set up the structure properly prior to the performance.

Thanks and best of luck in the coming year!!
I hope you enjoy the video and best of luck to all of you in the coming year! Thanks!

Saw your performance from Srujan last year, and this is a huuuuuge improvement! Some of the guys bring a lot of energy at parts (love the yellow dude at 1:35 after passing off his sapp, green guy when he comes to the front around 3:35 also kills it).

Other thoughts:
- in general, a lot of dancers (mostly besides yellow/pink jodis) need to extend their arms more and finish their moves. dancing more consistently in that respect will make a big difference in terms of cleanliness / general execution
- a couple dancers needed to get way lower during the chaals
- loved that you guys used kaatos, but make sure to hold/use them in the same way (and probably closer to the bottom, some dancers were holding them a third of the way up the kaato)
- 5:30 starting with the phumaniya and for the next 30 seconds was all the same formation -- some creativity with the formations there would've helped a ton in that segment
- energy was particularly low at the end, especially for the girls, and it made the end segment look messy (I personally think the staggered moves to end on those last few beats made it messier rather than having a cool effect, but it could've just been because of the tiredness)

Hope this helps!

Great job, hadn't seen Buckeye in a while but impressed to see how you're dancing as a team with a uniform style. I think what you guys could do is strengthen the style by dancing a bit bigger. For example, the way that jodi is done, you guys are making it clean as a team but it looks like there's energy held back by the way that both arms and legs are both picked up. I would recommend to bend the knees when dancing more and pick up legs past 90 degrees when doing so. For arms pick up elbows to have arms out a bit more, making your from and the move look bigger. This is just adjustments to one move but I think it can help a lot of other moves as well! Good luck when you next compete!
