Hey everyone,

This is Bull Bhangra's performance from this weekend at a Vaisakhi competition in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. We are a new team from the University of South Florida and this was our last performance of the season. We've been working very hard all semester with the help of our coach Rajbir Singh (Rangli Jawani).

We would appreciate any and all criticism, as we have a long way to go!

Always makes me smile to see florida teams stepping up to the plate. This is a great performance, and has the foundation for a solid team. I'll send you guys a detailed critique but one quick thing i'll state is that in general, young teams or just teams adjusting new dancers have a tendency to focus less on the dancing and basics than they need to and more on the gimmicks. Make a basic routine, even if its for gigs or just practice going through a set of moves the way you want to execute them in order to establish style. (Unlike guardians, you guys have the advantage of practicing together on a regular basis. Use it). Anyways, performance to be proud of. Keep at it, my expectations are high.

To the rest of BTF, we get threads every few months about the noncontributory nature of BTF these days and everyone changes for a couple days then nothing. These guys could use some fresh perspective and feedback! Looking at some of you old timers (like me) in particular!

keep dancing and appply everywhere ! i really enjoyed your set ! .. i do feel like that some dancers lost a lot of energy at end but wow you guys got some talented people !!!!! blue guy dancer is just wow ... i watched video 3 times and each time i was so pleased to see the blue guy dance with such strength and confidence. mix was really nice flowing as well.

pink guy at end that came out with the other two dancers ... went beyond ham wow

Rajbir from Rangli Jawani.
We can't thank him enough for all he's done for our team. A very good role model.

Thank you for the critique.

Great job!!! I will definitely be keeping my eyes on you!!!

i.m.o there are 2 types of coed teams... those were the guys and girl complement each other (i.e. VCU set the bar for this in its prime) and those were the guys and girls just straight up dance together as one, and u guys did an excellent job at the latter. truly the only difference was guys were paggs and girls wearing chunnis. i really like that

I would say 100% your ability to put together a good routine and your ability to dance, and dance as a team, are there. The smile of the green girl and the stage presence of the blue girl really stood out to me, and so did the stage presence/swag of the blue and green guys. What I would work on now is (1) Build on your foundation of dancing, guys need to open up more and dance bigger, and everyone needs to clean up their arms and hands. (2) Develop your own sense of creativity. Don;t watch any more music teams on youtube. let ur own fun twists just happen on their own and it'll show.
