This is Bulldog's performance at Legacy of Bhangra 2!
We all had a wonderful time and would like to thank everyone for all the support we have received!
A huge shoutout to Harry Parmar and Lovejot for doing such an amazing job once again at LOB, Chahat for being a great liaison, Baljot Gill for the fire mix and GabrooTV for always giving us great quality videos!

Any feedback would be very much appreciated :)

Mix is fireeeee. Only watched it once so far and I enjoyed the set. One thing that stood out was dancer variability. Seemed like some people were doing moves different than some others and it was kind of distracting. Otherwise, the set was solid and enjoyed how traditional it was. Congrats on first place!

Congrats on the first place. You guys have been getting better and better. However there are still things that need to be improved on. Below are the critiques I have from watching the vodeo just once.

1. The dancer rotation was missing in this set. I kept seeing the same blue jodi in the front everytime. Sometimes you will showcase some of your other dancers, but then the same blue jodis kept coming to the front. Dancer rotarion is important and if it is not done, it makes judges look towards the back for the weaker jodis.

2. Gimmicks were not the strong point in this set. You had about 4-5 gimmicks, but they didnt really hit that hard. The gimmicks introduced in this set messes up the flow of your set. Good gimmicks do not disrupt the flow of your set. If you are to have a stop and go gimmick, it has to literally be next level.

3. Formations need to be cleaned up alongside the stadardization of form. Coed teams are known for being clean and having crisp formations. The form was not standardized and the formations looked messy from the video

4. Choreography was pretty good, but do not steal other team's variations on moves. JJ pataka at the end was bery evident and was seen at elite 8 2015. Try making more moves of your own that makes people go wow!

Congrats again and keep dancing. You guys have gotten much better. Blue jodi was nasty haha really should set form and nahkra to that dude.

Saw this set a couple of times and have some critiques for ya guys.
-Totally agree with Howie, standardization was terrible for this set. It is clear that there are certain dancers that are more experienced than others and differences came out as your lower jodis got tired
-Choreography had good moments, but execution seemed lacking as energy waned throughout the set.
-Like others said, dancer rotation was poor
-I think shikke and daang (outside the hiccup with green jodi) were one of your more successful segments
-Luddi variation was nice in terms of choreo, but variability was seen here as black jodi went all in (got low, bounced shoulders and I thought looked good) and a lot of other dancers simply did the moves. That luddi would have hit better if people got lower and bounced.
-I disagree with Howie on the gimmicks, I thought they were cool and unique, I think they probably hit better live, but it was a nice folky take on gimmicks
-The mela gimmick I think needed more "movement" or energy-it looked a bit off to see blue jodi going all out and just about everyone else standing there.
-Formations were alright, shikke/dang were solid. But almost all formations were either "spread" or "line formations" and all the spread formations (where you guys spread out dancers across stage) looked the same because you had the same dancers in the front. It could be worth having some tighter formations, (like tight boxes etc) for variation

Couple of pet peeves, might just be me, so take em or leave em,
-I prefer dancers get much lower for jugni, luddi and Jandu singha
-More shoulder bounce
-Not a fan at all of "bobble-heading" for nakhra

All in all, I think you guys have your head in the right place. Congrats on your placing, hope to see more of you guys!

I kind of disagree with the other comments. I thought this set was really nasty. Watching it once, I was impressed with the amount of nakhra and energy from guys and girls in this set. Yes maybe standardization could be better, but you guys highlighted individual dancer quality and there was plenty of that to go around. I kind of enjoyed how everyone took the set and made it their own in a certain way. You danced the set how you wanted and seemed to have a blast and I felt that energy. It is easy to pick out individual mistakes and lack of sync on video and I'm sure the set hit hard live. I think you guys could've done more with your gimmicks or done without them. Mela was nice but the Caneda, ameerika gimmick was funny for a second and then nothing really happened.

Also please post that mix when you can. I wanted to get up and start dancing during your dhamaal seg. Great job!
