Amazing performance guys! Thanks for releasing your video so quickly (in HQ 720p format at that!). My review is below.
Honestly, I can't say you were one of my "favorites" to place going into the competition, but dammm.. I was blown away after seeing your performance. I knew you guys had potential, but your performance was a big improvement over Warrior 2010 & NorCal 2011. First off, I like these vardiyan a lot better. Secondly, you guys improved a lot in terms of getting everyone at the same level, made sure not to have vardiya malfunctions, changed up your formations a lot to fill up the stage in various ways (which I love), gimmicks were simple and the non-Punjabi segments fit in well with your mix/choreography.
I would have liked to see more guy-girl interaction (especially considering your already in "pairs"). Your "Meethi Meethi Wanjali" segment was a golden opportunity to display some of that in. I noticed a little bit of that interaction in your "Dil Mera Gaya Lutiya" segment, but I would add to this because the audience and judges always love it! Also, when you transition instruments/props, I would try not to simply walk to your next position. You'll notice this when you guys transition from saaps to daangs.. you just put down the saaps and then walk with the daangs to your starting position until the music "catches up." Lastly, you guys are fairly clean which I think really helped you get the win this competition.. but just be careful on your lines when shifting from one side of the stage to the other.
Anyway, by the end of your performance I became a big fan and was rooting for you guys to win. I knew it would be close/a toss up between you guys and BCC. I think you made Berkeley fans proud!

P.S. - What's up with throwing in the "Ek Pal Ka Jeena" dance move every performance? lol. Don't get me wrong, I like the song, but it seems you guys have a big Hrithik lover on your team

Cal Bhangra has improved a lot ever since they started competing, biggest change was when you guys competed at NorCal Bhangra. From then till now you guys have raised the bar and have been really entertaining to watch. Even last night your guys performance was really good, and the new vardis looked really sick!! I agree with Basim, Ive become a fan of Cal Bhangra. Keep up the good work!! Hope to see you guys at more comps.

Wow - the blue guy was amazing to watch, had my eyes on him the whole time. He won this for Cal Bhangra - not saying others were bad or anything but he was phenomenal. Congrats!!!!

This is my favorite collegiate performance of this year so far. Clean, good energy at the end, and traditional. My suggestion for future sets would be to be more innovative with formations, the dancing skill is already there, so combining them with more creative formations would take your team to the next level.

Awesome job Cal!! That was very entertaining to watch. Dancing ability is def much better than last year. Guy in blue, tore that to shreds.. Nathan (Green), glad you stuck with it, you have become a much better dancer! Girls, held their own as well. I love the new fits, but use them to play up the pairs, as Basim said. You can do a lot things with that. Again, great performance!

I totally forgot to mention the mix in my review. It was off the chain!
Loved the song selection, flow, and how well your choreography fit with it.I was telling the boys in the tinychat we had going on during the stream how amazing it sounded!
Definitely post it up whenever you guys get a chance. I need to jam to it!

Nav- you've taken this team so far, you're a legit captain. Cal bhangra is really starting to stand out, and not just from their dancing, I really love the new vardiyan! The performance was really great. You can tell you guys really put alot of practice and hard work in for this comp. I enjoyed it from beginning to end! Congratulations on getting 1st place. It was definitely well deserved.

1) SO HAPPY YOU GUYS GOT MULTI COLORED JODIS.....i honestly thought that was the ONLY thing holding you guys back and i think i was right
2) HOLY PAGGHA your turle were perfect.......like wow......thats all i could stare at for a while
