goood job that was a great performance/very clean and one thing i saw was no one really stood out, you guys danced as a unit which is underrated in bhangra also having new vardiyan deff helped you guys out instead of all the same colors.. it looks better cause then it actually shows what formations you guys are tryna do! and i give props to any non-indian that does bhangra so good job guy in green. Being a coed team maybe you guys should look into having a lil bit more gimmicks.. lotta things you guys can pull out of the book with guys and girls dancing on stage togetherr

i agree- you guys really looked like one unit with the same style and that really made me appreciate the set as a whole- especiallyyy with formations. also really liked the fact that you guys had every jodi highlighted at some point in the set, which really shows the capability of your dancers and keeps the set more entertaining in my opinion. congrats and looking forward to seeing more of your performances!!

I actually disagree with this. Gimmicks are definitely making a comeback lately but to see a performance that was lighter on gimmicks was refreshing. As other have mentioned going with jordi colors was a good idea compared to your old vardiyan and there was a decent level of uniformity in terms of talent and styles. Blue and Red jordis were very impressive. Great performance, simple (in a good way) and clean. Haven't seen any of the other performances but considering how clean this was and how Nachda Punjab is generally a pretty traditional competition I can see why this would place.

Maybe you didnt get what i was saying gabru.. i never told them to do gimmicks at nachda.. i know its a traditional comp.. its called advice for the future cause im sure they'll do a comp like bruin or some modern comp! And as sad as it sounds gimmicks is what is in nowadays in bhangra.. When you have the top-tier teams you always remember something they've done in their performance and it's usually a gimmick! The big named teams incorporate gimmicks.. gimmicks are interesting and can make a routine that much better, espp for a coed team. I know what you mean they can get annoying and over done but if you wanna do big things at big comps, something you should look into..

Nachda this year actually had separate judges for live and music. Their music judges were pretty modern this yr

And i actually agree with them throwing in more gimmicks... but tasteful ones, not ones that take up a whole segment in a routine.

This was the most fun set to watch the whole night, and was definitely a tossup between this and bcc because bcc's look at me now stunt had the crowd going just as crazy as panj's peacock. Cals performance was just really refreshing from what you normally see. I flew out to idols and this was definitely more entertaining

Makes sense. I completely understood what you were saying, I was just mentioning my own feelings about this set and how I felt it was perfect for the competition and how much I enjoyed it personally. But you're probably right about them needing to incorporate more gimmicks for a competition like Bruin if they were to dance there.

Nonetheless, this is one of my favorite music sets in a while and it definitely caught me by surprise.
