*Calling all DJS* - Gajjdi Jawani Mix Challenge!

Hey Everyone,


Gajjdi Jawani will be "auctioning" off our mix for the 2013-2014 to the DJ with the most impressive skills! Please read the information below if interested.


The DJ who wins will be awarded a 1 year contract to produce all of Gajjdi Jawani and Natya Academy's mixes. Mixes are due 6/14/13, email all final mixes to GajjdiJawani2013@gmail.com.

To qualify, we will need 3 sample mix entries from each DJ - timings are below (use youtube timings, songs are attached if needed):


1. Look Lak (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=se4AfpBel_Y): 00:06 - 00:40 mixed into Rangla Punjab (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-NoVjA7kRo): 00:53 - 01:20
2. Same Size (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Lx7CwXsCgw) mixed into Dil Nachda (3Q Records Presents - Sheri G - Dil Nachda (Music by Dav Juss) OFFICIAL VIDEO) 1:28 - 1:57
3. Anything one bhangra track you want to send - this can be your best mix, show off your skills!

Adding bass, messing with the speed, and being creative with effects/transitions will make you stand out and win our business. We are not only looking for a talented DJ, but also one who is professional. If you meet this criteria, you will be handsomely rewarded .

Hey everyone, we are going to involve the bhangra community with our decision! On Saturday 6/15, we are going to post the top 3 to 5 mixes and open a poll. The DJs will be kept anonymous to avoid any biases, and voting will be open till Sunday.
