Every single club/competition in BC makes money off of bhangra...there are two faces to everything, u can't call it a legit job and I think there is no appropriate title LOL. Most of them get performances done by various people and the money dissappears, nobody knows what happened to it, same with competitions. They try to make it seem legit but it never is and nobody's going to say anything about it muahahaha except me. Bhangra is corrupt period. By the way there is no such thing as non for profit, it only means the organisation found a way of making themselves look good-getting the government involved is always a way of ripping people off more. Thats for all organisations, I am not specifically targetting vibc cuz I don't know that much about them.

You could create a bhangra marketplace. You could create somewhat of a betting ring online on the outcomes of different events, and create options/futures/derivatives that allow different anticipations and outcomes of different events. You could be like a bookie or a broker for these bets/trades.

Simple: I bet $50 that SGPD will take 1st place at Blah Blah Bhangra Competition
Complicated: I bet $50 that SGPD will take 1st place, but VCU will take 3rd place
More complicated: I bet $50 that SGPD will take 1st place, VCU will take 3rd place, and the show will start 45 minutes late.

The bets could start small at like $1-$5, to entice users to place bets. But being that there are prolli somewhat like 2,000 members on BTF, and even if 10% participated you could have bets going on in the hundreds range. It's probably still not a full on career, but could be some side cash.

Grr.. gambling is bad!!!! I don't think anyone who truly loves bhangra should ever try to have a bhangra career... once you add money to the mix the love just gets ruined.
