CBS had a blast dancing together at BBC and are looking forward to the next time we can make this happen. Congrats to all teams for their hard work!

Special shoutout to Cherag and Anu Selhi for helping us out throughout the weekend so much. Between finding us practice space, giving us rides, tying paggan, and kickin it with us all weekend, we appreciate it so much and had a freakin blast with you guys. Also thanks to Saatvik for stepping in and taking care of us when we needed.

Had a great time with out groupies who helped out throughout the weekend as well- Romy, Nisarg, Gabbi: we love you! Megha- we wish you could've been there with us and we love you. Thanks for dealing with me throughout this whole process and for working with me so well! This one was for you.

Thanks for our friends on DCMPAA for lending us their beautiful vardi and to Punjabi Hit Squad for helping us out with some phuman.

Gsimz/Komil- thanks again for creating such a great mix for us to dance to and make my vision for this team come true. Will never get over this mix haha

HUGE thanks to my dancers for handling the preparation via video and not having the full team together for a runthrough until Friday afternoon. You guys handled my expectations and such a high level of adversity in preparing for this performance. The vision for the team and the identity is finally coming to life and it's because all of you committed to making this happen. Bringing in some of the best coed dancers on the circuit really made for a great weekend of dancing, but more importantly of building such great friendships across the country. You all put aside your own team styles to make this team look as one, and that's something to be so proud of. We are a folk bhangra team full of great coed dancers, and each of you bought in to that. In 4 months, this team has become something special and I love you all! So proud of all of you. Til next time...

Red: Kuntal Shah/Ekta Kaur
Blue: Ravi Marwaha/Surabhi Swarup
Purple: Manreet Sandhu/Bhavi Vohra
Yellow: Simran Sodhi/Nidhi Singh
Pink: Yeshel Chokshi/Pooja Swaminathan
Green: Ashvin Kapur/Priya Balagopal

Here is our video from this past weekend. We hope you enjoy!:

This was a beautiful set, really enjoyed watching this. So impressive how clean you guys were / how clean formations were given a full team run through wasn't done until Friday - really amazing that you guys could pull such a set off. I haven't seen all the videos yet, but i'd think this didn't place because of the nature of BBC not being a folk comp.

Also, formation at 5:22 is one of my favorites, recognize it from Blowout 2012 ;)

Man this set looks like so much fun. Dope choreo and fantastic song selection. And an all star lineup of dancers to make it look nasty (I see you Manreet n Bhavi, do it big). Seeing the smiles on your faces was awesome.

Keep it real, keep it folk

Just wanted to start off by saying that I had so much fun hanging out with y'all this weekend, starting from when we randomly ran into each other at the airport on Thursday :) . I absolutely love how unique this set is. Super folk, creative choreo, really clean formations - so hard to see all of that in one set these days. the formation changes since notorious were a pleasant surprise, I definitely didn't expect that (especially loved the intro formations, got me hooked right from the start!). Also, even though this lineup has people from so many different collegiate teams (VT, UNC, Duke, Cal, VCU), there's still a distinct feel to the set that every dancer follows. Great job y'all, can't wait to see more!

My, albeit short and sweet, critique:

First off, I want to congratulate everyone on their handwork and dedication. It isn't easy putting together an outsourced team and especially with the last minute dancer swap, so a lot of respect for that. I really enjoy this type of set: keep it simple and keep it folk, it brings me back to my time with VCU and Joshiley. Other than a few formational mistakes and a couple individual mistakes, the set was executed wonderfully.

Shout outs:

Kuntal: Keep doing what you are doing, great set, great team, and a very humble attitude.
Ekta: Always great to watch on stage.

Ravi: We will dance together soon.
Surabhi: You have officially joined the last-minute dancer club (unless you have before), much respect.

Manreet: Great Job
Bhavi: I especially enjoyed watching you, you remind me a lot of Shreya from VCU.

Simran: JJ brother. Absolutely murdered it. Hope to share the stage with you sometime in the future.
Nidhi: Great energy. You and Simran make a good jodi.

Yeshel: Great Job
Pooja: You and Yeshel make a good jodi on stage. Always great seeing you dance.

Ashvin: You did some serious work and looked great.
Priya: You looked like you were enjoying yourself. It always makes the performance better when the dancers are happy.

Additional Shout outs:

Priya: I was told you made the intro video, it was very classy and serious and I liked it over most other intro videos. It sets the stage for a very serious team which CBS has become.

Trying not to sound biased since I danced with you guys over summer but the circumstances were much harder this time around and you all did an amazing job --- still can't believe how clean this was! Shoutout to all my UNC dancers old and new, always love seeing you guys kill it on stage :)

Kuntal props for having the patience/dedication and leading this team from the other side of the country haha, it's rare for a captain to face a situation as difficult as this but you made it work, proud of you man.

An all-star cast of not just great dancers, but great people. Wish I could have seen this (and taped this haha) live. From the videos I've seen from this weekend, by far the best formations of any team.

Wouldn't have wanted to hang out with any other team until 7AM ;)

This is a fun team to watch.! Respect to u all. Kuntal you are a sick dancer, I can't wait to see what you guys do in your next performance. Its amazing that you are able to get dancers from all over and make this happen. The jhummar part of the mix was sick. I miss that ending that you guys did at Notorious which I think was a bit stronger than this ending. I saw a few minor mistakes however I def see you guys improving a lot!

S/O to Simran, Manreet and Bhavi (favorite jordis), Ashvin (Amazing job especially during the dhamaal part), Nidhi, Ravi, Pooja and Priya.

Great job guys! Really enjoyed watching this set. I was just wondering if anyone knew the song name at 7:14?

I know this is late, better but better late than never. This was a great set guys/girls. I am glad I could be of assistance to all of y'all. It was amazing to see humble people dancing for the sake of Bhangra. There were mistakes here and there which is why I felt the set didn't place. Dancing presence was there. formations had enough intricacy, and set was well constructed. You did a good job in picking dancers as well Kuntal. from the East to the West Coast, everyone held their own. The biggest thing that is shown via the two times this team has performed is your love for the dance. I highly appreciate this, staying true to who you are, I feel like y'all could have won BBC, but from seeing you all at the end of the weekend, just dancing on stage for you all was a victory, that's awesome!
