China's shadyness

1) Faked the firewords show for TV viewers... The shots showing the city lit up in fireworks was actually computer generated.
2)The red little girl singing during the opening ceremony wasn't actually singing. She was not even supposed to be the girl doing it, she was a replacement for another girl who was wasn't all that pretty but had a good voice. China wanted everything to be perfect, so they used the pretty girl with the other girls voice... wow...
3)China's olympic team is loaded with girls under the minimum required age of 16, you can tell by looking at them... Some of the girls dont even look 10! But the Chinese government has their passports and birth certificates, so it's impossible to prove they are under age... Not sure if anyone watched the Gymnastics tonight, but man the difference between China's girls and the everyone else was hugeeeeee... The girls were tiny as shit...

You can only wonder what else China is hiding... But overall I've been impressed with the Olympics...

Censoring what journalists say and allowing/disallowing select pieces of information as searchable content on the internet

Look at this picture, its taken from the edge of a wall in China

Agreed, I dont understand the political forces behind the IOC's pussyfooting around China. They didnt challenge the obviously underage Chinese gymnastics team, they didnt say anything when a US Olympian's visa was granted then revoked when he became politically active for Tibet, and they apologized profusely for people wearing pollution filter masks in Beijing, where the air quality is terrible. The entire idea to have the Olympics in China was a bad one, IMHO.

In China, searching for words such as democracy or freedom on google shows no results lol... cuz of their censorship and their "free-speech restrictions"
well thats communists for ya
And faking the whole fireworks for the opening ceremony is no surprise either... and i highly doubt any action will be taken concerning the underage gymnastics team.

yah they look pretty young.

on nbc they were talkin about how the girls are picked out of daycares or homes at the age of 3 and start training. and by the age of 10, there already at the professional level.

and one the of the US girls looked pretty young too. the really short one. how old is she?

if you look close enough and are obsessive about the olympics like i am, you'll notice that some of the chinese gymnasts still have some missing teeth... and you lose teeth when you're like TEN

this is what tivo is for.

My roommate went to China for the Olympics. After hearing all of this, I will definitely ask him what was up with this bullshit.

Urban Dictionary had this as one of their definitions for "China".

CHINA
1) Where all asians supposedly come from
A: "So, where do you come from? China"
B: "No, Korea"
A: "So you must speak Chinese then"
B: "No, and there isn't a language called Chinese, but differecnt dialects"
A: "Do you like rice?"
