SOO clean...enjoyed the performance a lot...

just one thing...esp going to the taller guy in orange....PLEASE either pin your chaadre or tie it lower...i saw a lot of leg and I have that problem alot but it really takes away from the performance when you can almost see upto someone's knees.

CMU your going places next year :D

remember a couple years ago, when VCU was the team that was on the brink of dominating the circuit? Where they were epic, but didn't get the placings they deserved? Yea... that's CMU today... ready to rocket to the top.

mother of fuk, that was amazinggg, one thingg though, seemed like parts of the jhoomer were really quick and almost jittery which kind of took away from the grace of the jhoomer and i think this was also the case during the last part of your khunda segment where you guys would hold a move for half a second and change into another one which made it almost seem, for a lack of a better word, robotic. other than that, this performance was off the hook and from what i hear people thought you would have placed and i totally agree, btw..swi..you are the man.

P.S.....one beef......one of the guy in purple/yellow had floppy turla syndrome the whole performance, dont worry it affects 1 in 10 men on the bhangra circuit and through the right treatment, his floppy turla can be stiff and erect like it was meant to be....

Guys, thank you so much for the appreciation!

Thanks for the notes too, we've had chadre problems all year with our taller guys, if anyone has suggestions we'd really appreciate it (our chadres are silk with embroidery). this was also my first competition tying pagghan and I don't think I starched that one purple turla enough but I learned about the magical, the wonderful...STA-FLO so that should help for future

And sid, the old vids always crack me up oh man hahaha

When tying chaadre tell the tall guy to get into a semi betka (not the farthest he can go but pretty far down) and pull the middle of the chaadre all the way down to the ground...thats usually the length that people tie for me (a longer person too)

Also, try double pinning the middle...one right at the bottom and one towards the middle. If needed you can even do 3 pins. Just make sure that both sides are even when pinning (very important)

Hope those tips help? :D

yoo swi, about the chaadre ask EVERYONE you tie it on to squat a litlte bit..and the taller guys should squat just a bittt more...i learned after alot of practice how to pin the chaadre correctly - it just takes a bit of prac!

about the performance - simple: LOVED IT!! :)

Get down into jugni formation, levels should be straight even across the bottom. works for us.
