Hey everyone, I am a member of team from Delaware that was recently founded. I have lived in Delaware my whole life and come to realize that major Bhangra Competitions have been held in every neighboring state, but not in Delaware itself. Out of curiosity, if my team/state was to host a competition in the future (with judges, prizes, etc.), how many teams would be interested in coming? Give feed back on this thought, also on any new ideas that would be interesting to include in a competitions. Thank You.

There are over 150 active teams, the Atlantic is littered with teams/colleges. You will easily have team support given how close delaware is to philly/dc/ny. That's the easy part.

What you really need to ask is, what venues are available that work for a bhangra comp, and who can we get to help fund it.

We always need more comps, so definitely do it!

As has been stated, the proximity is really appealing for a lot of teams. Hopkins Hareepa would be very interested!
