Complete Elite 8 Play-by-Play

[Lilly Singh]

Hey all,

First off I apologize if someone already made a thread for this! I'm just quickly rushing out of the house right now about to start my 12 hour drive to Washington! Over the weekend I am going to be covering Elite 8 as my first vlog. Having said that through this thread I will try my best to give you complete play-by-plays of the weekend (provided I have access to a signal/wifi). I will also periodically upload little teaser videos in hopes that it feels like those of you who couldn't come out, are there with us. Everyone who is attending, please feel free to share this space as I'm sure people will be anxiously awaiting.

Special thanks again to Elite 8 for allowing me access to the backstage area.

Aright then, I'm off! IISuperwomanII is heading to Washington, DC.

So glad that you're doing this for all us that are unable to attend. I hope someone is recording all the team performances in HD quality too!! No GTV

I'll be trying to follow along,

Lilly Singh FTW!

even though i'll be elite 8, i know how much it sucked to not be there last year, so what your doin is baller!

[zagreus]

[DJSP]

I heard tv asia will air elite 8 at a later date? not sure though

[MPElive]

Lilly, this is awesome and we look forward to play by play action. This is second year in a row I am missing Elite 8 due to work reasons

Damn girl, you must drive slow to make it there in 12 hours. With minimal stops and no issues at the customs, we have done in it 9 hours from Toronto.

Thank you so much! It really sucks that GTV won't be covering it, but this is as close to the next best thing as we can get, so i really do appreciate you doing this for everyone

i really do hope that someone records the performances in HD though, because while a play-by-play is amazing, there's nothing quite like actually watching the performances...

omg, you're the best. thank you sooo much
aside from that though, even if there are people screaming and such, it's better than not being able to see the routines at all. and i'm sure you can always dub the videos. they're releasing the mixtape of everyone's elite 8 mixes sometime soon, right?

[Lilly Singh]

Hey guys,

So I've just checked into the Comfort Inn in Washington. The teams are currently at their team mixer deciding line-up. So far I know that Panj is 5th and SGPD is 6th. The order doesn't really matter though because all the teams are PUMPED! The energy in this hotel is amazing.

I'm headed to the pre-party in a bit but before I sleep I will upload a video of the events thus far...including my 12...no...13...no...14.. hour journey lol. and i promise i don't drive slow! We had to make a stop in London and the weather was also brutal.

Be back soon,

Signing out.
