Alright guys, I need your help. I got a new laptop, and it came with Microsoft Office 2007 the trail version. I got a crack for it, but it said that the crack I put in was invalid. Then I downloaded Acid Pro which came with the keygen, and I put that in and that also came up as invalid. I tried this on my desktop, and all the cracks that I had worked on my desktop computer, but not on my laptop. Does anyone what in the world is going on lol. ??? ??? ???

XP all the way. As of right now I would never consider going to vista. Not until they introduce a new version to it (eg; a service pack that debugs a lot of the issues or something like the 98 SE (Second Edition). As for the the software not working, Vista is supposed to check for pirated anything lol so it's not surprising you are unable to install your apps. One thing you may wanna try before taking a rash decision of either downgrading to XP or running ur OS parallel is try looking at the specs for Acid Pro 7 and see if it is supported by Vista if not then that may be ur problem right there. Also check out maybe downloading another Acid Pro rip off of a site/torrent and try that. As for a key for Word I would say don't stop until you've tried a few. The security on the 07's and 08's are incredible (encryption wise).

well that's one of the software features Vista was supposed to carry unfortuantely lol. It does do a pretty bad job at it but (although I haven't immediately checked any source or read any direct news about it so) rumour has it many people have been caught thanks to some of the security features and have been fined heavily for the stuff they had. Lol and trust me I agree with you on that too. Which is why XP for life lol (life meaning until 2010 when XP will completely stopped being supported by Microsoft)Vick said:
