What's up BTF!?


I am incredibly proud to release our mix for WBBC publicly on BTF. Kartik and I put in countless hours into this mix to get it exactly the way we wanted - It's our last mix together and we wanted to make it especially sick - I hope you all enjoy it as much as we do :) It's been an awesome ride working on Mixes/Sets with Kartik for 2 years now, gonna miss every second of it.

Thanks to everyone who dealt with countless hilarious mixes from us before we made our first half-decent one. Anyone on a college team out there struggling to find someone to make you a mix - just open up Acid Pro and keep at it, you'll thank yourself later.

haha so many teams used that Roshan Prince song on Saturday. I think around half of the line-up used it.

I have the utmost respect for teams that make their own mixes in-house. Major props on this; it sounded amazing at the show.

Heres a few things i had to say..
Critiques:
- Doppler woosh effect seems extremely over used and loud
- It also seems like you tend to use the starting of the instrumental your going to use to transition songs alot. Try to use more creative things

On another note the mix was sick! Good choice of instrumentals.

and what ever happened to critiques on BTF?!

Such a bad ass mix you guys killed it. Mixes seem to be getting better and better in quality we need more stuff like this! The transitions are smooth and nothing seems to be peaking. Also I love the beat selection overall it's a super fresh mix. I love the way you guys would introduce a concept then switch to another song and then re-introduce the same concept later on. Some serious planning went into making this you can tell!

Gotta say this mix is sick. Really great use of instrumentals, especially loved the segment at 1:36 that you guys added and I've always loved the frisky remix. Only comment I would say is in the some songs it might sound better if you upped the bhangra vocals a bit but that's just personal preference. It's awesome that you keep doing the mix in-house, hope to see more mixes like this in the future!

Out of curiosity, what's the beat used in the intro?
