hes bowling well but to say hes best bowler in the tournament is a bit early.. especially when you consider Pakistan have only played three games out of which two were against Kenya and Canada who respectively aren't world beaters or renound for their playing of spin bowlers. However, Afridi is bowling extremely well so far and is a seriously underrated bowler.. his quicker balls are usually faster then most of India's pacers.. which shows the state of our bowling department! he most likely will get the most wickets in the tournament.. when you consider he's taken 14 already loll!!!

that Imran Tahir looks a good prospect too for South Africa.. will be interesting to see him bowl against the Indian batsmen.. group A looks pretty standard with regards to who will go through.. however group B is wide open.. can't wait till Sunday.. an England thrashing followed by an India win ;D !!!

Easily.. idk what caused the sudden change but he definitely is beasting so far and probably will end up with most wickets in the tournament.
Pakistan lucked out that Canadian batting sucks.. and so did South Africa earlier when Netherlands had them in a really bad spot. Imagine Dirk Nannes still playing for Netherlands.. maybe we would have had another upset.

No doubt! i guess he's not under any pressure as a Captain! Good to see he's back with his bowling skills and we all know he sure can kill the opponents with his batting skills

In INDIA, mostly all the pitches favors spinners! If you look back, there hasn't been many legit fast bowlers and if there were, then it might be 1 legit fast bowler in an Era! (Kapil dev N' V. Prasad N' Srinath) N' apologies if i had missed any legend! :-X


India just can't develop any legit fast bowler but have developed one of the best spinners in the world and we all know that! If we look at teams such as South Africa N' Australia, they have atleast two legitable fast bowlers in a team at once! for SA, they have "Steyn (this guy is jus awesome) N' then Morkel and we can say Nitini too but he retired! On the other hand, if we look at Aussies, it's "Lee N' Johnson".


But INDIA only has Zaheer! ??? Batting has always been there for INDIA but their BOWLING has always pushed us back from Winning the World Cup! We can only WIN this world cup is our bowler steps up! N' if our batting gives up on us, hopes are slim for INDIA to WIN this world cup!

i doubt it but it'll be legit! Teams like Kenya, Zimbabwe has pretty much lost their spot in ODI's N' TEST's! So it'll be good to see new teams get a chance and Ireland aren't bad at all. They really can play!

I also think Afghanistan might be given a chance to be in ODI's after the world cup! Hopefully, we have 10 teams who are good! It' really get's a little boring seeing the same teams play each other. lol

Saini saab have agree with you on most points .. but I think India is now moving away from that slight stereotypical view of India just produce spinners.. well they're trying to even thogh this world cup is showing otherwise lol!

Yeah Indian pitches are more suited for spinners.. but there are exceptions i.e. Mohali.. Bangalore (before world cup).. Nagpur (till India got shot out by Aussies).. and generally now most curators are producing sporting wickets.. until India are losing or want tv ratings.. which is happening at current world cup!

There have been endless campaigns and competitions to find the generation of Indian quicks.. i.e. MRF pace academy.. that gatorade speedstar.. etc etc.. It's just the case in my opinion that in India the top players are all batsmen.. kids want to be the next Tendulkar.. Dravid.. etc.. whereas in Pakistan for example they look up to greats like Wasim (baddest playa evvaaaaaaa ;D !!!!!).. Waqar.. Imran.. so I think thats having a major affect too.. countries like Aus and SAF are always going to produce quicks because pitches and their culture are suited to producing fast bowlers..

One thing that really annoys me with Indian pacers is they come on the scene... and are world beaters.. i.e. Irfan who came on the scene in Australi hitting towards 140s with huge swing... now no swing and just about 120s lol!.. Munaf clocked 90mph/145kmph when started same story here dramatic lose in pace.. RP was awesome in England and t20 we won.. now jus disappeared!.. and don't even get me started on India's supposed brightest star.. VRV SINGH ??? .. BIGGEST JOKE OF THE CENTURY!!!!

Ahhh after all that... some positives.. Zaheer hit county cricket did the hard yards and now is reaping the rewards.. I feel that is what they should do with promising youngsters.. send them to play county cricket for atleast two years to learn their trade.. otherwise these kids get thrown in deep end and when they begin to struggle.. they just drown and hardly ever return better than what they had started as!

All this cricket has got me in the mood for game... whose on it for a BTF Cricket Cup ;D lol!!

INDIA choked!

Sachin, Sehwag, N' Gambhir, gave em a really good start but rest of the INDIAN batting lineup was in a hurry to get into the locker room asap! idk why, but India never WINS when Sachin scores a Century! INDIA will choke big time when Sachin retires!

As far as the bowling goes, good to see Harbhajan picking up good wickets(3). Zaheer is always good! Nehra? I don't know what to say about him. India is so desperate for fast bowlers that they dig their past and pick up bowlers like "Nehra N' Ajit Agarkar". lol

Munaf? This guy is the laziest bowler ever! No face expression what so ever when he bowls! No aggression, No energy! Overall, INDIAN doesn't have match winning fast bowlers!

Dhoni - he played until the end, but what is going on with his batting? he can't get no boundary! what happened to dhoni, who scored a century in the warm up games!

Yuvi - he played few good shots, but then again couldn't play his game!

Pathan - I really like this guys batting, but it was a wrong move to send him early! he's a surprise batsman!

Kohli - just wasn't his day! lol

Harbhajan - good bowling but batting is just whatever!

Zaheer - a bowler so can't really count him for batting!

Nehra - you gotta go buddy! or please pick up wickets! that SIX in the last over was just " "

Munaf - you're a joke! ( i wish Praveen Kumar was still here)

p.s. Idk if Sresanth is better than Nehra or Munaf, but he should be given a shot asap! N' Lower order please step up your batting! you can't always count on top order batsman all the time! :-X
