Personally, I love it. But I love anything "different" whatever that implies. But I'm also 100% sure that a newer team (not associated with a well-known team) would not have gained the same response and perhaps even an opposite response. There's nothing THAT wrong with that because that's somewhat part of human nature, but it also shows the polarity of opinions on BTF. I'm glad you brought this point up, Ashveer. BTF has had a few heated "How Girls Should Perform Bhangra" discussions and I'm sure how girls should dress on stage would have been a big point for discussion/debate.

This could be another important moment in circuit history where all girl teams/co-ed teams realize that it might be okay to step out of "imposed" vardiyan guidelines. Reminds me of the time when everyone thought throwing props was blasphemous, sacrilegious and disrespectful to the integrity of bhangra until a few youtube videos surfaced of teams in India who really tossed them off stage like the little pieces of wood they are. It didn't change everyone's opinion on the matter, but it made a few of us realize how silly we were to think that way in the first place.

I don't see what's so wrong in it. Do you have anything against TAG? Or any other girls team out there? If they feel like wearing chadre then why don't you just let them? Not like your spending any money on it, and who said chadre are only for men? Show me one thing where it says girls aren't aloud to wear chadre, and only salwara. And then I'll stop talking. Meanwhile, if there's no reason to go against, keep your comments to yourself.
