and i just want to clarify that when i meant the committee was being retarded, i was being specific with the guys on the committee not the girls. the girls on the committee were nice to us the whole time.

Ravi's definitely right! especially at the end of the show when everyone was changing, the guys on the committee said out loud that if we didn't leave they'd throw us out...
but the girls were really nice and helpful!

Edit: Oh yaa forgot to mention, somebody on committee said that our team would lose points if we went out to go watch the other teams perform so some of us didn't want to go risk it and then two girls on committee told us that there was no such rule so it kind of sucked that me and a few others couldn't watch a good amount of the performances...

ya bro, like im a fan of regiment, so i recorded like the intro vid and your intro singing part, i think imma cut out the vid and keep the rest, its 11:22 all togethor, i can only put less than 10, upload it tonight...

glad that i could assist you guys(especially the ones that i had to escort to the mens bathroom lol) and make you're experience a little more better...i love all the teams that came and especially the ones that partied with me after :)

CSUN BHANGRA...this was our(true culture, csun exhibition) 1st performance...i hav never been to any competition so i cant compare the venue, n all...but m really happy n hyper as its a great feeling to be there on stage n be a part of BHANGRAAAAA :) :) :)
excited to be on gabroo tv ;)

This comp was very poorly but together and very unorganized
  • The picked a horrbile location to hold a comp it was literally in the ghetto and we stayed and the Ramada inn
  • The mixer was boring and stared really late. It got the job done but there was no dancing or anything
  • Once we got to the hotel we were never contacted by an organizer
  • The Venue was a high school with bad lighting
  • WE COULDNT LEAVE THE VENURE ONCE WE GOT THERE FOR TECH TIME WHICH WAS AT 12 AND SHOW STARTED AFTER 6:30
  • They had problems with sound and lighting during tech and the comp
  • The food was really late and teams we starving
  • Like everyone else said all the guys were very unhelpful and didnt answer questions
And the judgeing was HORRIBLE and i am not just saying that because my team didnt place. It was obviously rigged and we werent allowed to speak with the judges after the show. The left before the placing were even announced. We didnt even get feedback via email or anything

But a special thanks to Bunty... he held it down for us. he gave s rides and whatever we needed while other organizers just didnt care. And the day of the comp the girls made sure we were good and didnt need anything. Without bunty and the girls we probably wouldnt have even made it to the venue.

Everyone quite summed it up!
Congrats to all the winning teams!
Although Regiment or BMW didn't get their accreditation on stage, they definitely deserved it. Sick choreo, unique. Regiment was hella clean, stepped up their game FOR SURE.
Mixer- was like half an hour long, and even more disappointing that they didn't have dancing at the end of it:( I was SO ready to do some bhangra.
Venue- was at a high school…and stage lighting was ridiculous. We literally danced in the dark.
Overall, regardless of all that…. my gash... a FUN WEEKEND. Shout outs to all the winning teams, and performers!
