Its never to late to receive feedback for a performance


This is DCBC's performance at Bruin Bhangra 2014. Due to a last minute circumstance we had to dance 11 man set so props to Farah( purple girl ) for holding it down. Any feedback would be great!! Thanks GTV/harjot for a great vid and Bruin Committee for hosting us at our first west coast competition!! It was an amazing experience! Congrats BK, Ankhiley Gabroo and Fauj and the rest of the amazing teams we got to compete with for putting on awesome show!

BTW was this the first all girls team to use rumaals? SICK

1:27 - Really liked that clapping move.
The cartwheel I believe was done before by FAUJ and one other team, I forgot who. I don't think slowing it down in Tera Thumka did anything. And it was done for so little. I felt like the hype from this segment was lost.
Sideh Gal - Probably your best segment. This segment was straight up swag. Jumps were off after the spins. The one side spinning and the other two groups dropped was really cool. Reminded me of NJW spinning during charkha at Boston. That remix was also really sick. I felt like it complemented everything presented in that segment really well.
Jhummar - Don't think the rumaal trick in the starting of jhummar hit. Also I felt this segment was in there to serve as tick mark. Much more could of been done with this segment.
Clown gimmick didn't really hit as well. I think with the Superwomen mom coming on stage, it wasn't something everything could immediately understand.

Overall I enjoyed watching these. I tried pointing out the flaws I saw, rather than just saying good job. I would say the first half was much more stronger than the second half. It some what picked up at the end. Energy was wasn't bad. A couple jodi's stuck out to me. Hope to see you guys compete more. The dancers are getting better and you guys are getting better as a team, it's almost starting to remind me of the old DCBC. It's nice to watch something else besides all guys teams at comps LOL!

ahhh thank you so much Gsimz for taking the time to give us feedback!! It helped a lot and we will def keep the things in mind as the next season is coming up! Looking forward to competing with you guys more!
