This was an absolutely amazing first year competition, and I highly recommend it in future years for all judges and teams! From the judging perspective, the committee was extremely accommodating and had all the details (hotel, parking, transportation, schedule, food, afterparty, etc.) laid out for us from the moment we stepped in to the moment we left. The small things were what really set this competition apart, from having packets ready for each judge, clipboards + lights, and contingency plans in case something were to happen with the show.

The show itself was run very well, and was among the best-organized first year competitions I've ever been to. It ran on time and the board was very systematic with ensuring that all teams had the same opportunity on stage. The auditorium was enormous and the stage was huge--beyond this, the sound system was great and there was a balcony with a solid view of formations. After the competition, we were given a substantial amount of time to discuss feedback with the teams.

It was also really nice to see that the audience was pretty packed--I know as a first year competition it's especially difficult to advertise, but the board was able to get a lot of people to come and hype up all the competing teams.

It's really inspiring to see another well-attended and well-run competition in this area that's really sparse in terms of bhangra competitions/teams, and I'm looking forward to seeing it back next year!
