Dhol Dagga Rip

Hey Guys I recently noticed a medium sized rip in my dagga. Do you recommend duct taping it or just putting a new dagga skin on? I'm not too familiar with re-roping, So i'm not sure if i would be able to to re-rope it, so would taping it be fine?

For my preference: I don't use tapes, unless it's an emergency. when you have lots of time, i recommend to replace the dagga head(if it's ripped)
