I am buying a new dhol very soon, and i know the best place to go is india but its not possible for me to go there. I have been looking at dhols online, for those with the experience where can i get the best dhols, i was thinking dhol factory, or dhol etc ?

I've heard really good things about Dhol Factory, but you might want to stay away from Kala Kendar, they have THE shittiest quality dhols and accessories

i have a dhol factory dhol, i think. it used to be Rick n Raj, but now it's dhol factory....it's a nice dhol. I rather like it. I would suggest you stay with a GBC head with that dhol though, the Remo skin is a little too thick for it to provide a proper treble. it's good fun.

jas musicals has some nice dhols, but they r overpriced. might be worth it tho with the good exchange rate

Kala Kendar dhols are all good. My cousin got one from there, and it truly is one of the nicest sounding dhols I've ever played. But he actually went to the store in T.O. and checked it out proper, I wouldn't be surprised if someone bought a dhol online and got a piece of shit one lol...
