Dhol

I am looking to buy a full sized taali dhol, anyone know of a good place to get one from? I really wanted to get one from Punjab, but I am not going anytime soon, and if I get someone to ship it, shipping will probably end up costing more than the dhol itself. Also, any advice on buying and installing a mic? Thanks in advance

If NYC is the closests place for you it's probably better to get it there since it saves the time and hassle of getting one from Punjab.

As for mic, just buy an SM57 or SM58 off of a reputable store, I got mine from an Ebay power seller for cheep, it's really easy to install yourself, the only part that you might need help with is the soldering of the mic plug-in but any music store can do that for you.

theres a uncle in surrey whos getting a new shipment of new dhols, saaps, kundeys from punjab at the end of the month. there really nice taali ones. u can contact him and ask him if hes willing to ship. he sells a normal taali dhol for 175 CAN. msg me if u want his contact.
