Difference Between Wolverine Bhangra and Michigan Bhangra Team?

Can someone one either team tell me if these are two separate and distinct bhangra teams? Are they both from the University of Michigan, I'm curious. If they are, then having two bhangra teams for one school is pretty epic.

sorry...just wanted to clarifyy i'm behind the timessss
Wolverine Bhangra - new team on campus, pure folk

Michigan Bhangra Team - modern.
Two teams for a school with 25,000 undergraduates? Not really that epic. I think it's more epic for a team to get to a competition like Bhangra Blowout but come out of a school with less than 5000 undergraduates (ie: University of Rochester).

And it's not that rare provided that the school has:

1) people with different game plans or different styles (results in a modern team and a folk team like UCSD, CMU, UMich)
2) a great foundation for recruiting, training and developing talent (results in a team with enough alternates that sometimes the alternates may be able to perform as a separate entity like VCU)

Yeah both teams are from Umich - Ann Arbor

MBT incorporates modern aspects and WB incorporates more traditional aspects, but all in all, we all just like to dance and have a good time!! :D

also, more schools are starting to create multiple teams due to the massive popularity of bhangra over the years. VCU is probably most known for having their alternate team but Cornell has also had multiple teams. I think some of the cali schools also have multiple teams but i am not sure.

We (CMU) also created a second team this past year thanks to the huge impact that Bhangra in the Burgh has had on our campus over the past 3 years.

It is tougher to have multiple teams in a university, with divided time of captains and choreographers. Also, in smaller schools limited practice space and of course funding makes it a huge challenge to manage so many people but when you have 40+ people coming to tryouts then you have to figure a way to let people dance.

Crazy stuff. UNC is a pretty big school and putting together enough dedicated dancers for even a single competitive bhangra team is pretty hard from what I've seen.
