Nirmal has a great voice so for that reason, this was still pretty good.

But the sound Surjit-ji had was like no other. Cuple things that just didnt sound the same to me were the "bas kar bas kar" and "tere lak de hulare da mul koi na, teri akh de ishare da mul koi na" lines. Those weren't meant for anyone else in my mind.
