Just noticed this forum subcategory hasn't moved up too much in a while... how about I light it up a little? I wanted to share a little prized possession and work of mine: the hit 'Double Addi' by Mickey Singh, Amar Sandhu, 2NYCE, and DJ Ice mashed up with 'Animals' by the world hit sensation Martin Garrix. Enjoy Double Addi x Animals!

Sounds dope
Keeping the original club feel and adding the "Animal" feel to it as well
Great balance; I was expecting one track to be louder than the other and kill the whole mix but this is well mixed :)

Cool idea with a neat club feel. Couple of thoughts I had while listening:

At like 1:03 it starts going a little weird, the beat gets mismatched and the tracks go off key. This dissonance stays until the drop at 1:46, when things straighten out a little more, but again it's not as pleasant to listen to as it would be if the mismatched beats and pitches in some trouble places were fixed. For example it happens again at 2:25. The chorus is still happening and the musical interlude from Animals cuts in halfway into the end of the chorus, whereas ideally it should come in either right at the beginning or at the end of the chorus. Listen to it yourself and ask "does this flow properly? Are musical ideas being incorporated in the right places?" You can ask these same questions at the animals drop following this, the drop should ideally occur at the chorus and not in a refrain verse, because then there isn't a climactic buildup.

I hope my comments were helpful, and hopefully didn't offend in any way. The remix was well tried and has potential, just focus on the musicality (beats, pitching, builds, dynamics, etc) of your ideas rather than just lining up two tracks and calling it a day. Keep working at it and PM me or comment if you have questions!
