okay, first off really good job...at least something pleasing to the ear

- really like the looping of pooja's vocals though, even though its kinda random sections, but thats cool
at around 0:50 - its odd becuase obviously the background melody of the original song doesn't fall exactly in pitch with the sunlight song, but thats okayy...what needs working is at 1:00....its too much of the reptition there, and i see what ur doing, but its not EQed properly, so its just like this clipping noise...its tough to get the right sound prolli because u dont have the acapella, but there should be some filter to help with that

- once again at 1:30 with sunshine vs jay sean, it goes in and out of pitch, which is fine i suppose...its jst like it sounds awesome, then it sounds out of pithc, then it sounds sawesome again lol

- at 1:53 - something weird happening there with the slowing down of the songgg, sounds a little weird, once again a clipping noise needs to be eqed

- like the dido thing, that was random, but cool, there are some random words in there though at like 2:50...which i couldn't really maek out if it was supposed to be a gimmick or what

- 3:05 transition could have been better, smoother...you don't always have to fade songs in between each other, becuase sometimes its just tough..just use a dj scratch back...stop the flow, and restart...can also be powerful

- personal opinion, for a family dance competition like Tufaan, wouldve used censored version of Jay-z song, or scratched over curses

- very creative to use please don't stop the music there, makes sense in hindi too so that was cool

- 8:20 songs just don't go together, you had a great build up there, but hindi song just doesn't flow and feels forced

- so the building up with love mera hit hit at 9:40...i wouldve brought that fade in softer instead of repeating that pre-chorus twice and having to loop "koi exit" twice...its jst akward...mgiht have trying to filter and pan it from right and left...or chop it up and bring it in. the mashup is pretty cool though, but at 10:40 u still need something to bring it in...like some sort of zoooming in soundddd

- end thunder? lol i get it tufaan

okay, overall great job, but EQ needs a lil work, flow needs a bit of work, and some mashups just don't work (but hey, got to experiment right!). sometimes you've got this great idea, and u keep doing it again and again and again eventually it sounds good to you. I always show my mom a mix ive made, if she says she doesnt like it..i seriously think about redoing it...cuz shes "the average" listener.

For this I filtered the SHIT out of it haha...i guess the melody is too strong to filter out completely but i know what you mean...i just wanted to keep it anyways

I don't really get this because to me it sounds fine...maybe its cuz I've listened to it so many times, but I know that both songs are in the same key, so theoretically, they should sound fine together...right? Or am I missing something?

Really appreciate the feedback...this is the kinda stuff thats gonna help me advance. I know there are a bunch of other mixers on this forum, so if you have the time to critique my work I would really appreciate it

So yah - its not always technical...just because two songs are in the same key, doesn't always mean A) they remain in key or B) that they don't extend their key. Not sure how much you know about music theory, but technically I can start a chord progression by going lets say C, E, A, C..and so forth, but I could also hit a B in there and it would sound fine, and then I start the chord progression at B, D, F, B and so forth...technically at this pace you could transfer frmo one key to another seamlessly without even knowing. This often found in classical pieces such as mozart, etc....when they want to change the style of what theyre doing in the middle of the piece...they can easily go from something in C Major scale and switch right into like F Minor or smething. I'm not too literate on this.

For the purposes of mixing, its definitely fine...and I don't think anyone (besides me) would complain about such a minor thing lol. Sometimes its just an ear thing, and sometimes different ears hear it differently, so for all intents and purposes, my ear is just my ear - aka my opinion.

great job
