Djs for online battle (let's try this again)

Hey,

I am looking for 3-4 DJs interested in participating in an online DJ battle. Users decide the winner by voting online. It will be hosted on NTP's website at www.ntpentertainment.com.

I would need the following by Saturday, April 9th, 2010 no later than 8pm:

-Original mix in mp3 format (3-6 minutes in length)
-an image to represent you
-DJ name
-Track name
-Email address

question...is there one song that everyone needs to mix up and the voters decide the best mix? because if thats not the case people are gonna be comparing apples with oranges in deciding which mix is best...you need to level the playing field somehow.

Hey guys,

Neet, that's an awesome idea. Hopefully no one has started yet because I am actually going to make that the case. I am going to let BTF decide what the song should be. I will start a new thread asking BTF which song they want remixed so be sure to give your 2 cents!

The criteria will then be to mix that song however you choose (with other songs, with other styles, with other beats, etc). The time limit of 3-6 minutes still applies.

Let me know what you guys think. And the users vote guys...so yes indeed "do it up"

I also need a confirmation message or email regarding whose 100% down for the battle. This round only has 3-4 DJs so I need to make sure I don't get 10 people giving me mixes. This is only one battle so don't worry if you're not in this time. I'll give you guys the creative freedom, etc to decide what you want in other rounds. For example maybe the winner of this round can continue on into the others and keep battling until someone defeats the "champ." So we can have one champion and then several challengers. HEY! and maybe the champion can be highlighted each week or something. I will look into this. Let me know if this is something you guys would be interested in.

Possible other rounds could include: a completely jhoomer mix? Boliyan remix? haha whatever you guys want.

Variety is a must. Must push DJ out of his/her comfort zone so I like that last idea.

Well I can't speak for anyone else but I'm only confirming if I'm down completely based on the song selection we have to mix so maybe get that situated first? If the song inspires me to mix it then ill be down but if not ill just skip the round so someone else can have that spot...thatll ultimately bring out the best mixes, if that's what you're going for, even tho I agree with g-string with the whole comfort zone thing
