Rebecca Black - Friday (Dhol Remix Featuring Wale)

This is going nowhere..

[Lilly Singh]

This is going nowhere..

agreed...fail...you guys wanna suggest how to please the DJs?
although it is comparing different things...should the first round just be a free for all? the only criteria is it has to be a bhangra mix?

[OfficialDjConcept]

I think you should tell everyone what song when it should be done and what the specifcs are, to me it looked like you tried to start something without thinking it over, give us (DJ's) something to work with. I liked the song you picked. I'm down to do this tho, ill check back for updates!

[OfficialDjConcept]

Wen I say I liked the song you picked, I meant mitran di jaan not rebecca black lol

[Navkarn]

Im flattered you used my idea even though it went nowhere <3

[Mukandpuria]

- provide the DJ with a couple of song to mix from
- also ask them to provide the raw music file so you can analysis it as to how creative they got. and make sure they followed the guidelines

Get a famous dj to judge...it will make everyone apply...have the famous DJ announce the winner through a youtube video. for example Dr. Zeus, Punjabi MC

in fact make a campaign out of it to promote Punjabi culture through music...you can get a lot of singers involved, record exclusive vocals for the DJs to mix and create there own beats/loops

PR this shit all over Youtube and Facebook. theres a huge market out there of Punjabi DJs that are not on BTF...

split it up into two categories:
Mix bhangra music (different tempo)
Mix Sad song (different temp)

far fetched but we all know your connected Lilly

Mix Sad song (different temp)

[DjFresh]

hmm....this goin down?

[Lilly Singh]

here's an idea...djs mix mitraan di jaan.....and what if...Neet aka 2nyce judges it for one winner...but users can also vote for a peoples choice?...so theres a champ and a peoples choice? (the site has voting capability...might as well use it) lol...i dunno how you guys feel about that and actually I havent even asked him so he very well may reject the idea lol...but everyone on BTF seems to agree that hes pretty good at what he does...

if u dont agree...dont throw stones at me...
