They'll have a WINNING record (over .500) but don't get too excited. They're a joke right now!!! No Chemistry what so ever, yet!

**p.s. Elite 8 Bhangra teams; from each team pick one of their 1 best dancer; which makes a 8 guy/girl(if a girl been picked) set; "this Bhangra team has a better chance to WIN 10+ competitions in a row than the over-hyped MIAMI HEAT. 8)

you simply can't win with 3 superstars and NO ONE else - you cant do that night in and night out - let alone have CHEMISTRY gel between these superstars

they'll never be able to beat the lakers, magic, celtics in the playoffs - those teams have SOOOO much depth and even in their starting lineup - they can match up well enough with the heat (if not, better)

lakers i can tell u are ridiculously deep and talented from 1-12, not to mention phil jackson is a billion times better coach than erik spoelstra lol

but all in all - only time will tell with the heat but i highlyyy doubt they'll be able to win w/ their current play

i hate the miami heat personally but they will be the team to beat in the next 5-10 games. there going to take it all this year if they can stay healthy which is unlikely with haslem and mike miller their best two role players already out with injuries.

Bosh is a soft jumpshooting big..but the truth is he is a SF trapped in a PF's body, Z is old, Haslem brings hustle but is undersized and the rest of their big men are just stiffs. They lack the toughness inside to match up against a team like the Celtics or Lakers, maybe even the Magic.

It will take time for them to find cohesiveness, but their problems are not all in a lack of chemistry, much of it is just a problem with their roster. Without a true PG (Carlos Arroyo doesn't cut it) and without a big man who is willing to be an enforcer and dominate the paint they will struggle.

Miami is garbage! You got 3 Allstars and some good role players around you and your a .500 team! There coach needs to get fired.

Ohhh shiettt...where's Kush at?

They haven't been a complete team at all this season, and I had a feeling injuries would be an issue for Miami. They couldn't afford to lose a player, but they unfortunately lost Miller and Haslem, and Wade was out for the preseason and has that wrist problem. As of now they're lacking chemistry, but its way too soon to determine where they will end. Wait until at least half way through the season. They'll have a +.500 record for sure. They'll win games, I don't think they'll win a championship though. Main problem:Injuries+No legit big man. Z is a big man but he's not gonna cut it against Shaq, Howard, Bynum, etc.

Lakers threepeat :)

there have been 2 intelligent analyses in this entire thread. I'm not even gonna dignify the moronic ones with a response. The heat will get their act together. Bosh is playing stronger now but the man has NO idea how to play defense and needs to man up a bit. Wade is still playing beast except for that 3 game roll, but he needs to get more into the rotational play of passing. This switching off attacking the basket between lebron and wade is a very stagnant form of play, and will not work. For those of you WHO ACTUALLY WATCH AND DONT JUST RUN YOUR MOUTHS LIKE YOU KNOW SOMETHING (i.e. most of you commenting here), it would be obvious to see that when the heat are passing more and setting up plays, they are playing great.

YES the loss of miller and haslem is hurting us hardcore! haslem out for the season is a tremendous blow because we now have dampier to pick up the slack left by 10-10 haslem and i dont think dampier can cut it. Mike miller, our pure shooter, is out, leaving us with James jones (getting better) and an inconsistent eddie house to play the outside game on the outlet pass.

Overhyped heat? most definitely, i said so from the beginning. Winning it all? will be difficult, i also said so from the beginning. But will the heat end their season looking like this? no chance. haters keep talking, bandwagon fans keep dropping. i love my team regardless.

Too bad for the Heat, they didn't seem to have any fans after the initial celebration of signing Bosh and Lebron. The arena was empty from the start...bandwagon fans might jump on in the playoffs, but Miami basketball has to have one of the weakest fan bases around if they cant sell that place out and have it hype every single game.

Miami fans are no better than NJ fans, if a team of that caliber and hype were in a city like toronto, oh lord it would be more difficult to get a raptors ticket than it is to get a leafs ticket, no hate kush <3

Celtics Lakers final, lakers 3 peat.. Miami is not in the picture because in a series, Boston is just too strong and big downlow, defense and rebounding win championships...when la gets Bynum back, they will be set...

With time...

They just need to make sure they make the playoffs.
They can easily start rolling @ some point like many others have said.
Chemistry still needs building

problems with miami so far

1. dwade and lebron dont play well together because essentially they have the same skill sets and game. they are replicating each others roles within the constrains of the offense they have.
2. mediocre post defense allows penetration from guards and good positioning by the opposing team's bigs
3. shot selection is stupid by lebron and to a lesser extent wade. neither have been great shooters outside of 15 feet and have essentially made their living near the basket (high efficiency from there too). this year they are resigned to taking too many early shot clock shots, long 2s, contested 3s and just bad looks in general.
4. lack of ball movement, especially on the perimeter. there is still lots of possessions where when the ball gets to lebron that the movement stops and he holds it for 10 seconds and throws up a low percentage shot. kills flow of offense and negates the advantage they have with wade and bosh on the floor as well.
5. weak bench and depth but we all knew that was gonna happen when u have 3 near max contracts.

solutions
1. minimize time that dwade and lebron are on court together.
2. play at faster pace to overcome bad defense, you gotta just outscore everyone
3. make lebron post up more
4. forbid dwade and lebron to shoot 3s
5. pray that their egos get smaller.

chemistry wont make this team win. winning creates chemistry, not the other way around.

Miami has the players, they just don't want it as bad as other elite NBA teams do, they represent all that is wrong with NBA basketball. I mean put all the talent in the world on the floor, and what happens? Players get lazier, play no defense, wade counting on Lebron to score..Bosh counting on Wade to score, Lebron counting Bosh to grab a rebound, its a cycle of fail... losing games against lower ranked teams such as pacers or memphis isn't a team of championchip calibar. If they change shit up sometime around the Allstar break and shoot for a 3rd or 2nd seed in the west and build some chemistry before playoffs then something good will happen but if they keep this up then it's C's v.s Lakeshow all over again which I wouldn't mind watching... lol
