Just got back from the comp....the placing yet again were just wack.....LIVE WAS INSANEE, there was a bit of an issue on stage though i don't want to get too in depth on that, best part was when all the vets and academy owners danced with pammi bhai live ahahah classic, congrats to all the winners!!!!!!!

Just got back from the comp...best part of the night..KS Makhan grabbing Iqbal Virk and kiicking him off stage lol (virk is nachdi jawani's head) all pammi was saying was that the kids were crazy...hands down did a crazy job and they dont even have competition cause they ripped it so we'll give them a trophy on its own. Virk probably thought that wasnt enough but whatever, my opinion...virk should just take it to the radio shows and the news papers like he always does lol. What kind of role-model are you infront of your "toddlers"...

on the first note..lay the smackdown on his candy ass lol..that was jokesss..anyways that comp was something else.. started an hr or so late..so many delays..from the fire alarm siutation and exiting the building..to one giddha teams cd getting messed up so they had to stop the performance..but the performances were all great..every team did amazing..all i noe is top floor balcony was live as hell.that was probably the best part lol next to all the drama i heard take place backstage haha..competitions these days..

The reason the conflict started was, when the placings were being announced for the mordern category they divided into 2 categories: juniors and seniors. Theres 3 teams in total for the modern category and you divide it RIGHT BEFORE the placings. TODDLERS being the smallest kids of the night were the only kids in the JUNIOR category. Is that fair? The way I see it is any team who was performing in the modern category had the right to ASK why this would happen.

yeahh it was pretty weird...im guessing the judges were based on the fact that toddlers were much younger then anakhilay gabru andd shan e punjab...

Pammi Bai had a good point though as they were merely children. Not too sure if it was appropriate to enable toddlers to compete in the modern category with older dancers in the first place but I would think that their coach should have sensed some red flags go off upon receiving notification that this team had been accepted into the competition.

But either way it was just a first year comp, and I am waiting desperately for the videos... lol aha...Hopefully someone ran home right after the comp and is uploading the vids as I type this message, lol.

Honestly you cant invent new categories after everyone's performed. If there's an obvious disparity (hint: team name contains "toddlers"), you gotta make that decision before accepting them.

Rooh Punjab Dee was simply amazing, well executed routine, in my opinion they deserved first place. Shout out to my boy Amrit Singh Grewal(ASG) who held it down for RPD, first live comp...well done bro

Just a small correction.. Gidha Category only had two placings; there was a tie for 2nd between Rooh Punjab Dee Girls & Dhamak Punjab Di. SFU Gidha set the standard way too high by going first in order and no other team came near to match thier routine. Great seeing all the teams compete last night. Congratulations to all the teams that placed.

I dont agree with this, the toddlers have the ability to compete with older aged teams. The placings for modern was so wierd. Whats the point of making it senior/junior. Toddlers were not even facing anyone. So how could they win, It was like they won by default, which I think is wrong. They just should have made it 1st,2nd,3rd for the modern cate.
