Hello BTF,


First off, I cannot thank thank the committee enough for all their hospitality and the love they showed towards every team at this competition. You guys were awesome and DRP had a bomb ass time this weekend.


That being said just wanted to take a moment and share the soundcloud link to DRP's mix for Bhangra Fever 5. [SIZE=small]Our mixes are made in house, by our very own Agam Virk aka Agizzle. From the details in the mix, down to the mastering, he knows what he's doing and puts his best product out there for us to dance to. Please enjoy the mix and turn the bass up on this one ;) . This mix was solid. Really enjoyed the song selection and general aesthetics of the mix. Really liked the choice of acapellas too, i thought they fit fantastically with the mix. I also can't believe this is 10 minutes long...

If i could give some small constructive feed back:

1) I felt like your dj tag was used a bit too much. This might be personal taste, but I think you should drop it once every so often. I think like 3 per mix is a reasonable, above that seems a bit over kill.

2) I thought some of the transitions were a bit strange. Like 5:04 was a bit sudden, as was 4:17

3) i thought some of your drops could have used some added bass. Not necessarily cacophonous layers, but one more bass heavy layer could have added something to like 3:59 and 4:45

Honestly, I thought the mix was solid, you're a really talented person and your mixing matches really well with DRP's style. Props to you

You guys always have such great song selection! The mixing sounds fantastic but I agree with the person above that the tag really ruins it for a lot of the segments : /

It sounds as if the DJ was trying way to hard to make sure the audience knew who made the mix lol. One or two times is sufficient but I lost count halfway in on my second listen -_- Yikes!

haha I was wondering about the same song. I asked Agam, and he said it's Hawaa by Gagan Sidhu. He updated the track list on the SoundCloud page.
