oh damn haha I didnt know about the whole tax thing, good looking bballer and basin and thanks for that math. But still, coming from a loyal laker fan, you just cant leave the lakers!! I mean come on if dwight had stayed at least for 2014, who knows what genius mitch kupchack could have pulled. Remember this is the same guy that got pau gasol in his prime for Kwam-e brown.

Teams that don't need a top 5 center in the league are teams that A) already have a top 5 center B) play small ball very well to the point they don't need a dominant center. A 7 seed team that loses their second best player won't do very well especially when the remaining players are still banged up (older too so they won't heal as quick). Compound that with the fact that he was their youngest core player and would have come in next season completely healed from his back surgery. Yea the Lakers don't need him.

ya we needed dwight no matter what, If he was back the lakers could probably hold their own til kobe was back, now its probably going to be a blood bath. I dunno i was mixed; dwight never brought that laker attitude and never clicked with kobe, I could see for chemistry reasons him leaving for Houston.

I know its a long shot but I really hope lakers just "tank" and get wiggins haha.. long shot I know but he would be fun to watch in hollywood.

With Metta gone, Lakers agreed to sign Wesley Johnson from the Phoenix Suns in todays report: "According to Mike Bresnahan of the Los Angeles Times, Johnson and the Lakers agreed to terms on a one-year deal worth approximately $1 million."

You guys see Brandon Jennings as a a Laker? He hasn't signed yet with the Bucks and lakers would only have him and nash on their books for 2014. That way they can already have a a legit pg and have nash as a reserve off the bench.
