Hey btf'ers,

Anytime we've had a thread that mentions a car or something, Eleanor always seems to become involved in it. I've been trying to find an un-restored 1967 Ford GT500, but have had no luck. If you've heard of something in a grapevine about and un-restored piece, please let me know. It's probably going to be impossible to look for it, its only a matter of luck. The other car I can/wanna use is a 1967 Mustang Fastback. And again, same as the info about the GT500, if you hear something or know of someone wanting to get rid of one, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. It'll be greatly appreciated.

I need a project car to work on, and I think Eleanor would be the best project period.

Yours truly,

Kamalpreet

there is a group called unique motorsports (i believe) who build these cars just like eleanor and sell them... they were also the same company who built the car for the movie gone in 60 seconds... that would be your best bet, though i imagine they would charge a lot...

You are going to have to start going to small private auctions. BUT ARE YOU NUTS. The chances of finding one of those is tinyyyyy

IMO a great place to start would be with a Purebread american muscle car such as the Cuda, stang, camero, etc.

envy, if you find one, lemme know where at. i'm looking too [seriously]. but i've been searing ebay and craigslist and once in awhile something will pop up. i think your best bet is going to be through an owner or a private vendor. i doubt you'll find one at an auction without it being ridiculously priced..

Hey avni / envy good news ... I talked with my mechanic friend who referred me to a guy named Chris ... He's a mustang enthusiast and buys/sells/restores classic mustangs for a living. I called him up and he has 1 fully restored 67 gt500 for only $40,000 which is significantly cheaper than others listed for sale ... I also asked him to call or email me back when he finds any unrestored models he comes across ... Ill update the both of ya when o find out more ... Lemme know if ur interested in the one has for sale ... Ill try to obtain a pic for you two
