If UNC are as clean as Burgh & VPD, they will take it home. Otherwise NYPD will take it for their creativity.. Good Luck to all the teams..

Sounds like dancing is taking the backseat to gimmicks.
This years elite has def been about the gimmicks. I dont think this generalization can be made about the circuit as a whole up to this point, but if u consider whats happening tonight as the standard for next year then were headed in a strange direction. I feel that at elite each team tries to make their performance memorable,.and the EASIEST way to do that is thru theatricals. itll be interesting to see where we go from here and to see what judging favors.

Unrelated note, alan guan is tearing it up

NYPD and unc separating themselves from the pack.
Standing ovation for unc. Drumline? Winning.

THAT good?
My opinion: these two teams, followed by AEG.
Might be because NYPD and unc finished the show/AEG was early, but it felt like the most memorable performances were in the second half.

Unc reminds me so much of vcu. Perfect integration of gimmicks with dancing. Yet so clean.
NYPD brought that Toronto fire that everyone loves. The gimkicks(although maybe one too many) hit really well with the audience. Both super entertaining performances.
AEG had a sick set as well. Filled up the stage really well.
I feel like maybe because AEG was early/NYPD and unc were last, the latter hit harder.

Teams most definitely brought it. So many sick moments in the comp
