ESPN commercial shoot in NYC for the US Open - need bhangra dancers!

[dheerja]

Hi all,

My friend at ESPN is organizing a commercial shoot for the US Open with bhangra dancers. They want as many dancers as possible, and are still figuring out the exact date/time/location. Here are the options:

- Wednesday afternoon (tomorrow) in Washington Square Park
- Friday afternoon (location TBD)
- Saturday evening at the US Open stadium in Flushing Meadows

Please either post below or PM me with your email address by TONIGHT if you're interested and which dates/times you're available so I can let her know!

Since the olympics, bhangra is taking over. Feels good to be recognized.

UPDATE

Spoke to my friend yesterday and ESPN has set the date/time for the shoot. Unfortunately they weren't able to secure a location for Friday or Saturday, and couldn't wait any longer since they need to start editing the footage immediately to air in time for the US Open.

Here are the details:
Date: Thursday Aug 23rd (this Thurs)
Time: 11am-4pm
Location: Chelsea Piers or Central Park (will be determined today)

Please PM me with your email if you're able to make this and I'll add you to the finalized list of people to send over to her.

Thanks everyone who came out today - it was a blast! We had a gorgeous shoot in Central Park, everyone keep your eyes glued to ESPN the next few weeks for the commercial to air

Bhangra is taking over.

EST right? I was just watching it then and I didn't catch it. Is anyone going to upload a video of it when it comes on?
