FAUJ has this effect when you see them perform live that you think they have it won. I wish I did see this live because even at BBC 2011 and 2012 as well as WBBC, I just think the intricacy they incorporate into their routines in their stylistic choreography is a true gift to the circuit that teams can learn from.


Cherag, you don't need to hear it from me, but great job as always, boss. Aminder is dirty too, I love seeing him dance and Kinnell, idk where you are in the world right now whether it be Ohio, Boston, or judging at a comp in NY, but the way you are able to hit everything despite probably only going to half the practices (I have no idea if this is true, Im just assuming) is a great testament to your intelligence and bhangra skills on learning a routine. TDeep, Gurteg, Deep, you're all just too good and almost unfair to have you all on a team. Best of luck at you next comp and please go 16 again because y'all are too good to not win a competition with a 16 man showcase.

Truly impressed by this set. The saaps segment was not only the best FAUJ saap segment ever, but arguably amongst the best I have ever seen. The level of cleanliness throughout the entire set - even with 16 people - was phenomenal and I loved how every dancer had their own "moment" on stage. Top to bottom, I think FAUJ has some of the most skilled and emphatic dancers on the circuit and it really showed. Knees were super high, nakhre was dynamic and interactive.

It's crazy the sheer number of moves that are "made up" in this set, yet it still overall stays true to the dance. Cherag, you're a beast at creative choreo sequences. The only segment that didn't hit for me was jhummar, and that's just a personal preference. The end seemed a little anticlimactic as well, but I'm assuming that AR Drone in the back was supposed to do more than peek out. Also, the beginning of khundey seemed a bit static where you guys stood around for 8 beats.

Overall, this set was amazing and I've watched it at least 15x. Props to Nisarg for finishing this set in his advanced elderly state!

The raw power of this routine really stuck out to me. When I first watched this live I didn't appreciate the set nearly as much as I do now. It really has grown on me. Several really impressive intricacies built into the set.

Saaps obviously are top notch.

I have a million thoughts on this performance, but I don't feel even remotely qualified enough to critique this. All I can say is, FAUJ is by far my favorite team on the circuit. Us CMU guys have watched this set (and your last year one) countless times. Everything about it flows and hits so well. Formations really stand out in my mind. Very innovative and always hit well and seem effortless.Kinnell, Deepu, Gurteg - you are all nasty dancers. Cherag you have a command of the stage that I haven't seen in any other dancer. Looking forward to seeing you all around.Well fucking done.
