Wish I could have caught this live.

- walkie talkie stuff leading in to the sher was a nice touch
- Call of Fauj. Connects very well with your team theme. That word connectivity I'll continue to use throughout which I very much appreciate
- Shikka segment didn't start with the impact, but the impact came via your movement which was great. Breakout from corner hit for me.
- Khunda segment from yall's baitka bandook spin thing til the end of it was phenomenal. Loved that it was full of variations and tricks that were DIGESTIBLE. As in, you didn't do too much all at once, and it flowed.
- into chaal and getting lower was dope. it sucks that i can't feel it the way it should feel (live vs video) I felt like the mix should have bumped harder on the drop into chaal, but seeing it live could have been so dif via yall's expressions.
- Movement out of that segement. Great use of stage.
- in jhoomer with the way you moved your body during the budha jhoomer at 4:18, and the side to side movement immediately after that, connected so well with the thriller beat in the mix.
- salute to mothers <3
- the sammi variation might be pretty out there for some, but I dig it. took a more graceful step and made it a powerful one.
- use of the lights was dope. again. connectivity. formational movement complimented with the lights and mix
- 5:14 drop movement and mix was fire
- give you guys credit for kabootar chaal with pataka footwork. ballsy. its bruin. love it.
- with the EMP, i think it woulda been sick if you did something with cutting the lights and everything. kind of hard for me to think about what you could have done, but maybe using the screen to do some radar of teams closing in on FAUJ and then the EMP kills it. idk. just brain dumping

Callouts:

- SPD. HAHAHAHAH loved that you all did the spin in khunde, landing it, then being like nahhhhhh. had me dying.
- FCB. a plane falling from the ceiling. best call out of us ever.
- BK. didn't quite get the call out until the fire. Since thats how they brought in the video gimmick in 2012. It hit. Wish you guys did that more in the beginning but I get why at the end of that segment.

The call outs made sense because they connected. Matched the team and a BIG memorable moment from each one.

Man, I love this team. Please keep doing cool stuff. You kids have such a unique brand and I hope placings never stop you from pushing the creative limits on the army theme.

Bruin 2014 will be one of my forever fav's, but this one just seemed a little off. What actually annoyed me the most was the giant blank screen in the back the entire time. Made the performance feel empty.

What I would've done/Idea: Since BG Videos are a dime-a-dozen at Bruin now, brought back something similar to the LA backdrop you had in 2014 and play a damn video on top of it. Possibilities for this set = endless. Lightning storms, helicopters flying around, post-apocalyptic DTLA warzone, shards of the FCB plane falling from the sky, all of that fun and nutty goodness.

...Oh, and dump the bhangra vests and do it all in some bulletproof SWAT-style kevlar vests ???

Impressed by how intelligently the stage was filled using only 10 dancers--

Sid hit on many moments I also had in mind. Would like to add that moments like 5:14 used such a clever way to get the jodi colors to realign. 6:07 what a fresh twist to the typical phulka-formation-expansion. In retrospect, this is such a difficult set to present well. It couldn't rely on all those typical tricks that most teams can use (e.g. dancing in clumps/shapes, choreo blocking, busting out). But necessity is the mother of invention, and I appreciated seeing how strategically 10 was used.

Excited to see what you all come up with next!

Couple of quick thoughts: A lot of your dancers seem to bend their backs and lean forward throughout the routine, especially during the shikke segment. Part of it is because you guys tucked your kainthey into your vests; not having that phuman at your back kinda exaggerates it, but imo you need to over emphasize straight backs to exemplify good posture. I was also thrown off a bit by the differences in gimmicks that happened throughout, the army theme doesn't match up exactly with the earth wind & fire jhummar and mom gimmick. The gimmicks work well separately, but don't blend well, it just seemed a bit random. Otherwise liked the use of the stage throughout, tough to do that with a 10 man team. Nice to see that you're still competing, I feel super old watching videos like this and wishing it was the early 2010s again

Chaffa fake out at 5:40 into the bhatkas was dope, choreo and formation wise its probably my favorite FAUJ set, great job guys!

-Loved the saap seg super dynamic formations really made up for the number of dancers on stage and maximized the impact of the seg since dancing in place without looking smaller than teams going 16/20.
-the SPD call out in khunde was fantastic hahahaha
-chaal segment was super playful and loved how much the dancers just purely enjoyed dancing that seg; however I don't think that seg hit that hard solely cuz a lotta the things that made that segment great were just really really slick choreo things that take a second to comprehend
- loved shooting us outta the sky it was hilarious hahaha, thank you for not making the crowd squeamish with a prop gun
- salute to the mother's thing didn't really do it for me, idk not much entertainment from taking out a card from your vest ya know?
- dhammal seg at 4:49 was straight flames, the grenade shit and the drop hit like a ton of bricks
- wish you did something more with the EMP, maybe with that back light y'all had
- 6:32 I'm never really a fan of teams just standing there, just easy to call you out for needing a break
- yo mix was flames, love the back beats for a lotta the songs

Overall, y'all made 10 look impressively big. Honestly the more I see y'all go 10 the less I care about teams putting as many dancers on stage as long as they use the stage well. That being said with 10 dancers it's easy to nit pick dancers on energy, nakhra, execution. I know you know who needs work so not gonna go through everything. Creativity was at 11 for y'all as usual. I think the point that dinged ya the most is that there were moments throughout the set I think that just didn't hit like y'all expected or you could have done more with (EMP, BK call out, chaal seg, salute to mothers). Hit me up if ya have questions but again, absolutely amazing performance. Genuinely an honor to dance on the same stage as a team I idolized when I started dancing.

This set was dope to watch, especially to see everyone going in. Watching Cherag's nakhra, energy and posture is something I'll never get used to, the dude is a beast and embodies having fun while dancing. I really liked that most of your dancers held their own, there wasn't anyone you were trying to hide, everyone as a cohesive unit looked good together. Call-outs were dope, defffffff loved the SPD one. Some of the variations were hot but some were a little hard to digest or understand what was being variated on.

That being said, I think I liked the Big10 set a little bit better. I think everything felt seamless and all the drops and formations hit a little bit harder. Your choreo variations and the small moments like Cherag popping his shoulder during Taur (jhoomer) hit reallly hard. I think if you find a balance between that set's choreo and this set's dancers then you will find yourself in a dope position for the next competing year. Can't wait to see more of y'all coming back
