Favorite Phumniyaan segment?

Phumaniya is one of my favorite dances to do and arguably one of the most versatile segments in a routine (we've seen so many variations and takes on it), so I was curious what your favorite phumaniya segments are? Which team at which comp did a version pf phumaniya that made you lose your shit?

On the other hand, do you think a solidly executed traditional phumaniya is best? (maybe it depends on the rubric, live vs. music, etc.)

This is real phumniya, what everyone else is posting is called tin tara, its just been labeled phumniya. Never really understood the logic behind that.

also a huge fan of the shivchand video...getting low, amazing nakhra - i think i prefer this to any variation

So then what exactly is this step called? It looks so different from what everyone has posted so far.

Learn Bhanmgra ( Phummaniyaan ) Zaildar Pargat Singh Assandh

I was taught that phumaniya is the 16 step sequence a lot of people are reffering to, and the Pargat Singh video is tin tara.

don't know if its a "logic" thing, but I think its that folks have just been taught different things. People call pataka, dhamaka. jadhu singha has been called mor chaal. its all good.

i remember this thread from back in the day: http://bhangrateamsforum.com/discuss/main-bhangra-discussion/how-did-phumanian-develop/
