for 1K, im willing to take my chances, its got into an accident, front passanger side, needs a radiator, a few other parts, new door, and some body work. But 1K is still pretty good.

Not worth it. A car is never the same after an accident no matter what mechanics say. Especially it being a salvaged title.

How salvaged is it? A gasket change on an F-car can cost 10k. You gotta give more info than that man. Parts are hard to come by as is labor.
What model is it?

most ferraris use exotic materials to build the car, ie carbon fiber frames/body panels and such... if you know cars, and you sound like you do, that alone will cost you an arm and leg to repair... My boss had a Ferrari that he was trying to sell and it wouldnt go cause there was a 15k service that needed to be performed... Something about the timing belt had to be changed after x amount of years... car had less than 20k miles, but its a high rev engine so maintenance is more frequent...

Now after learning it's a 03 430, I take back what I said and say go for it and work on repairing it yourself. For 1,000, I'd get it and put in a good 20k into it just to be able to say, "I own a Ferrari." ahaha

Thanks. The 355 are known to be damn expensive to fix because for almost everything you have to yank the engine out...

How badly salvaged is it? If it is selling for 1,000, I think it could need at min 60-70k in work. Hell door sills on those shits cost like 1g.
