What up fam! Wanted to share our BIB X performance!! (more updates coming)

First things first: We took the first semester comps to raise awareness for Ovarian Cancer. While cancer has always affected our teams family and friends, it hit us pretty hard this summer. We sold almost 500 shirts and raised $8,000 for Ovarian Cancer. For me, this was my proudest moment of being a part of FCB. To see how hard the team worked to sell the shirts, raise awareness, and donate to cancer research, made me realize even more how amazing our family is. On top of that, we have to give credit to all of the teams and folks around the circuit that also promoted the shirts and cause. **Special shout to Double-O threads for making the shirts!** It's always amazing to have young ones come up to us after a show and be amazed by what we did on stage, and get inspired to learn and dance bhangra. But it's even more amazing to see our platform actually do something even more real for the betterment of humanity. "Mawan De Puth Sher Gabru"

Shoutouts:
- First Class Family that always supports us like non other.
- Liaisons: Alisa and Shreya! You guys were amazing!

Yes we know. It is what it is. The volume was lower during the show than it was during tech time. Whatever the tatti happened during our kato segment, we literally could hear nothing. Same with the ending stomp off. Not gonna get into it. We've competed at Burgh since Burgh 4. First time this has ever happened... Will post a real review it later.

Much love! See yall at Mela!

Yea we wouldn't know man you're so right. Omg please let me know how to do that so I can direct my team almighty expert.

Please post a video of you complaining so I can learn from it.

P.S: If you can embed the video link that would be better. We're all too stupid to figure it out anyways

Jokes and entertainment aside, I am not sure what message was trying to be conveyed with this stunt. My guess is that it was an innocent act of "bromance" which I guess is fine. As an ally, I personally believe this being categorized as "defamatory" can* be misconstrued as homophobic. There's no room for homophobia anymore on this forum. Just my $0.02.

Kind-of-relevant plug: http://bhangrateamsforum.com/a/threads/ddnq-for-lgbtq-dancers-on-btf.28478/

Disclaimer: What happened on stage was just getting lost in the music and the spirit of what I believe is Bhangra. Umer, my jodi, is literally like a brother to me, a true jodi. FCB is the biggest group of goons I have ever been a part of, loving of everyone. This team does not come to judgments about anyone or their lifestyles and we fully support the LGBTQ+ community. I am very sorry if any of the actions, or phrasing of the statement was misconstrued or offended anyone. We love you guys, thank you for being so supportive of our team. Trust me, siddyp is not a homophobe lmao.

Totally understand the love! I'm also familiar with FCB fam and was sure no harm was intended toward anyone :)

I guess my post was more for those on the forum who might have misconstrued that part of the post and taken an unnecessary step forward- def not an attack on y'all haha

Back on topic- I always enjoy FCB's performances at BIB. There's a special energy y'all bring to that home stage.
